I don't think palm oil is very good to eat, but I suppose so long as you don't eat it, it should be fine. :)

MMMMM I wouldnt use the palm oil, I would avoid that as much as possible, proberly ok for dreads but the ethics behind it is shite

It sounds pretty good to me. I might would omit the palm oil too, just because I'm not sure about it. I wouldn't use too much patchouli oil either, as it can be quite strong.

SLS is a coconut oil derivative. it's a 'natural' product that doesn't always have to be listed as SLS. most commercial 'natural' soaps have to have some way of producing the lather, which can be hard to do with safe, natural, vegan soaps(you are veggie, right gaby?).

use simple vegetable glycerin or local natural soapmakers, or somehing like dr. bronners instead of anything with an ingredient listed as just 'coconut oil'

^theres no way to get glycerin or dr. bronners soaps? you could always just wash with baking soda and sea salt...

is it liquid or bar? If it's liquid try diluting it so it rinses out better.
