i have a friend who has just been thrown out because he is nearly 18 ad doesn't have a job. This is due to him leavingschool early due to moving around. He is now homeless and is adament he doesn't want to stay in a hostel. I've told him about squatting but he doesn't really fancy it, although I think it may dfepend on the squat. First off, this may sound kinda harsh and I don't mean it to be But it seems to me like he's a bit too short on options to be picky! 17 is canny young to be dealt such a shit hand. But surely he should be thinking about biting a school/work/hostel bullet. That's sorta my first thought on the situation. Now theres no need to be an arse about it, is there? Sorry no can do...I guess wed have to know the guy or at least have spoken over the internet for a while, and it sounds like the situations urgent for him. Im pretty open-minded and our doors are usualy always open, but circumstances are difficult at the moment for us I hope he finds somewhere to stay soon. Sucks whats happening to him
