baseball players are meant to wear tight pants with the socks pulled up. Although his style is more of a kickback to the old knickerboxers, they look more like a pair of jncos circa 1998. The helmet thing drives me nuts, I'm glad I'm not alone.

Rockiies were hot all year long. Swept the Yanks in June, took 2 of 3 from bosox in june, 14 of 15 last regular season games. Had they needed 5 games in DS and 7 in CS, i could see a fluke, but they swept both of those series.. Fluke my ass. Even Kirby, RIP, could've seen they aren't a fluke. Now we could start the argument of the possible superiority of the American league over the national, but my AL team didn't have a fantastic season, they never should've let Zito go.

I understand I called him a monkey, but I did not use it in a racial tone. YOU are the only person in this thread to decide it was racism. Once again monkey wouldn't fit as a racial slur because he's dominican not african american.

The rockies are losing the series. But they're still having a great season. To go from being at the bottom of the league last year, and quite frankly one of the jokes of professional teams, to being NL champs and in the series is a hell of switch. I'm happy for my team too, I can say that over and over again.
