A life with love Is a life without hope Where your swimming and sinking in a sea with no boat And I will be there drowning by your side Holding your hand as we go with the tide. After all, This is how we were meant to be Broken but bound together cause dont you know lovers will never be free Dont you know lovers should never dream Cause no one likes to be let down. A life with love Is a life without hope Where the pain eventually stops but we never learn to cope And the graves were all digging are deeper than they seem And were all just moving to the beat of things But we know were just slowing down, Digging our holes farther in the ground filling it with issues We will never understand. After all loves deep and Salvations cheap. Theres roads everywhere begging to be seen And together will make it to the bottom of these things.
very well done, but heartbreaking man, I can relate i 'spose, but believe me, you're views on "love" will change...it's a very very fine line between love and infatuation...as for the writing style, beautiful, you know it's good =)
When i read your poem, a single tear streaked my face as if a drop of dew on a morning leaf, brittled by impending winter.
beautiful piece she88! let us digg those holes until there is no digger anymore and remember One Love, One Life.....
This was my favorite part (I liked your poem very much, keep writing!): And I will be there drowning by your side Holding your hand as we go with the tide. After all, This is how we were meant to be Broken but bound together
This is a really nice piece. I like the rhyme and the flow. It reads well aloud, which for me anyway, is one of the true tests of a poem. Looking forward to more...
