so does anyone know anything about the closing of antioch college? i'm interested in moving to yellow springs, but it sounds like some drama going on at the school... it's so sad.
Their alumni has not been too generous with the donations and they simply ran out of money. Last I heard, half of their buildings were in disrepair and a lot of the equipment was well out of date but they couldn't afford to redo it. The announced that they were closing after this year in the spring of last year (sadly after many students had already decided to attend and had withdrawn from their other acceptances). They hope to get enough money together to renovate and reopen fresh in 2010.
