Facts are facts big guy. They don't not become facts because they piss you off. The fact is that more homosexuals live very unhealthy lifestyles when compared to the general population. Facing the facts and correcting youre lifestyles will mean that your life expectancy rises. Ignoring them because you don't like them will ironically just make you guys die earlier like you're already doing.

The same thing happened when AIDS was being disocovered in San Francisco. Gay guys didn't want to face the facts because it made them feel uncomfortable and they kept having unsafe sex. That didn't work out too well for them because in the end facts prevail over emotions. They all got HIV and many of them are dead. The same thing will happen and is happening now if homosexuals don't fix their livestyles.

 

The stats you refer to have little real validity. At age 62 i don't expect to die young because of unhealthy lifestyle choices...it's a bit too late to die young for me. The stats refer to identified gay people who come into contact with health care systems. there are far more of us out here who are doing just fine. When AIDS was first identified there was much confusion and mis-information. This was when that old idiot ronald regan was playing cowboy in the White House. Little in the line of useful guidelines existed and little research was being done by the government. It was also before the Web existed with its fast information options. AIDS came out of nowhere and was well established before many people knew what hit them. If you are only 19 you have no idea what that era was like.
If you feel yourself to be on a mission to save us homo's from our unhealthy lifestyles you might want to get a bit better presentation of your concern. It sounds a helluva lot like the kind of condemnation some of us have tolerated all our lives. Actually, as I get older and nastier I've become very intolerant of "holyer than thou" types. You have some good advice in the need to live healther lifestyles, but your presentation sucks.

All the other things you listed have nothing to do with being a lesbian, they have to do with a lifestyle that has become associated with being a lesbian and it just doesn't hold true for the general population...its called a stereotype and its generalizing people and lumping them into little boxes that they don't fit into.

Ignorance is a mental disease especially coming from Canucks. I am 75, I am in very good health and hike several miles every month back packing in the mountains. I have never had prostate cancer and my ex-wife a Lesbian never had breast cancer for making love to her lesbian lover. Something tells me that some one is pulling an April Fool joke and this is October. Oh well maybe in Canada their April Fools day comes in October.
