if they are damaged thats a different story. seeds grow into plants. if you have mature seeds and they are planted and cared for properly, a plant will grow. the quality and usefulness of the resulting plant depends on a lot more than just planting a seed in the ground, though. but yes, if you plant a good seed, and it is exposed to the right factors, a plant will grow.
I'm not a total dumb ass you guys! I do understand that plants come from seeds but... yah know, I think my question is lagit! Hmmm, now I should learn how to grow from seeds! It looks hard though.
okay, first you want the dark ones that may have stripes on them, the bigger the better (not sure, just hearsay for the size). I put them in a glass of room temp water that sat out for a day and covered it so it was dark. 2-3 days later it should break the shell, then plant it. Mine is like 8" across and about the same high. In only a few weeks!
God the people on this forum are becmoing assholes, it's a legit question, alot of different seeds won't grow in the state people tend to get them in. But marijuana seeds will, obviously not all of them though, if it's mature it probably will then it's the luck of nature taking over.
Paper towel method has never done me wrong. Towel in a baggie, on top of the cable box usuall gives about the perfect temp without having to drop some dough on a heating mat. Good luck.
IMO, rockwool sucks to germinate in. Water dirt, aerate dirt, plant seed with pointy side down, lightly cover seed with dirt, 3-5 days later, if it was a decent seed, you have a seedling.
