Dour Festival Belgium

Hello party people!

July 12-15 I wanna go to the Dour festival in Belgium! It's supposed to be really awesome, all sorts of music, not very expensive, and.. with a big lake!!
But, just now someone told me some weird stories about how he was really shocked about the people, harddrugs, and about me going by myself!
So now I dunno what to do. Is anyone going (hold my hand) or can anyone please tell me how lovely this festival is and that I will be fine, that I will have the time of my life even?

watch out for MDMA..space cakes..weed..XTC..
music is good...just like pukkelpop..
I don't go to festivals..for me a motorbike trip..
is more then enough..gives me a kick,you know

Psychedelica man is right..I think Dour is not so bad..
it's close to French border..hm....the French freaks..
just go with some friends..you'll find someone for Dour

I really wonder what could make me scared about a festival like this?
and yes it is close to the french border, which is good, after and maybe before dour I'm gonna cross that border

 

Dour festival is one of the greatest "large" festivals in Belgium. Nice people, great atmosphere! You should all definitly try it!

 

ooh I found my old thread
so, I went, by myself, and.. I kind of had a hard time being all alone, I don't think many others were alone like me.. everyone was with their friends, enjoying themselves, minding their business.
after two days of trying to adjust I started feeling better (also, all the great bands came in the last two days!) and I guess it showed cause I started meeting people and I actually had a great time then!
still, I don't think I would do it again, I definately don't deal with crowds too well and 4 days is pretty long as well! it was a great experience though, especially cause it was part of a 5-week trip on my own..
