makeup

i like to put makeup on. i likje to put it on myself an others. it kinda reminds me of painting... u start with a clean slate, and end up with something totally different and unique. is it wrong that i like makeup? i know a lot of u dont. why dont you?

(this was not meant in an accusing way, it was meant in a friendly, curious way)

havin said that, dont put too much make up on since u're only 13.
13 is not too young to wear some makeup but its too young to wear a lot of make up.

 

Hmm, As a heavy makeup wearer I feel I have some validity in posting here.

makeup is great and it can look fab and be fun to wear.

On the other hand, its a great disguise and it can become you and this is where it becomes a problem

I used to wear it all the time and not want to leave my house without it, it became part of who I thought I was and should be. So my advice to you is, remember who you are under the paint. and have fun, makeup rawks

 

I don't wear it because I hate putting my hands on my face and feeling paint, I just feel a lot more ocmfortable without it. Plus I spend zero time getting ready in the morning, so makeup takes away from sleep time!

 

i like make up. i don't really like foundation, though. i'm very pale and my hair is dyed black and without a bit of eye make up and rouge i would look like a ghost.

 

Are you me? I feel the same way, especially about getting ready in the mornings. I love being able to get ready in 15 minutes. But mainly, I don't think I need it. I haven't worn makeup since highschool, really. I like not having to worry about washing the stuff off at night, or smears or the cost!! My skin has never been healthier since I stopped wearing it.

 

I like sparkles. I like lip gloss and natural eyeliners. I don't like it when girls think they're ugly without makeup. I don't like that alot of makeup is made with animals. I don't like that the media sells us beauty products by preying on our insecurities. If i did what the magazines tell me to do I would starve myself and spend hundreds a month on makeup every month. that being said I loved makeup when i was 13. I also love looking beautiful on my own terms.

 

i just like eyemakeup, other then that my skin is free. i agree i stopped doing the foundation stuff and now my skin is in such better shape.

 

I love make up but I dont like the way I stress without it. Like today I ran out of foundation so had to go to uni without any foundation on. And Im HATING it. And I know if I didnt wear eyeliner, shadow and mascara I wouldnt be leaving the house at all!!
I can quite honestly say I look ugly without makeup.

 

i only use makeup as coverup for my complexion.. but it's getting better and ill be on new medicine soon which should clear it up once and for all. i dont think theres really a reason for makeup if you have clear skin, except eye makeup cause people like to primp their eyes

 

i cant wear base stuff, it feels weird on my face. now and then i go through an orange-eyeshadow (just cuz i love the color) and eyeliner fase. but never full out makeup unless its a fancy occasion, then sometimes i'll slip on some lipstick and blush, too.

 

I used to be one of the people who wouldn't leave their house without make up on...and then I got a reality check, 'cause when people saw me without make up, they said I was just as beautiful, if not more, without eyeliner and all that other stuff.

I still wear it when I wanna feel pretty, or have enough time in the morning. Otherwise, I'm just happy being my natural self.

 

to me, make up is a bad habit. something that you repeatedly do that is not necessary nor good for u. but that's just me.

 

i only put on a little eye makeup only for a small difference. i hate alot of makeup, it look retarded on alot of people.

 

I honestly think people who wear alot of makeup look slutty..but if you knew the people in my school, you might understand. I wear no makeup because I like feeling natural. It is fun to put on makeup every once in awhile though

 

I hardly ever wear foundation or blush, unless it's going out for a special occasion at night. But I do wear a little sagey-green eyeshadow/ eyeliner, faintly rose coloured lipbalm/gloss and mascara every day - i just feel wrong without it, like going out without clothes on.

Makeup is great fun to play around with - but yeah, the caked on look is kind of ick.

 

i dont wear makeup every day or anything, but ya, like someone said before, once in a while when i want to feel pretty. i dont wear foundation, eye shadow (i have this natural eyeshadow thing going on), or lipstick, or most makeup, really. I wear coverup just if its relaly bad. but i like to wear mascara, and a little bit of eyeliner, on occasions.

 

I absolutely ADORE make-up!!!
I love experimenting with it, but I never wear my experiments in public.
Ziggy Stardust and Transformer was in the seventies, and if I went out like that, well...
But it's fun if you're bored.
My usual make-up is brown eyeliner, brown/beige/golden eyeshadow, starting with dark brown at the bottom of my eyelid close to my lashes, and the further up the eyelid, the lighter shades and tones, like beige and golden.
Then I finish off with some white, subtle eyeshadow right under my eyebrows.
Forgot to mention foundation.
My skin gets very dry very easily, so I mix my foundation with some moisturizer before I put it on. I do the foundation and concealer before the eyeshadow.
Anyway, then moving on to my lashes.
First I curl them, though it's not necessary every day. I use the curler BEFORE I put on mascara.
Then I put on dark brown mascara that doesn't put much mascara on the eyelashes, but defines them and seperates them. After that I put on another mascara for more colour and a more "open" look.
Then I finish off with an apricot blush.

I am all for makeup, unless its in huge quantities. I just wear mascara and on days when I'm lookin a little dead, I'll put on a little blush but thats it. I use makeup to play up my natural features. We're all beautiful on the inside and out anyways.

 

I agree with Oh So Strange...a lot of the girls in my school who wear full makeup are the whores of the school.(no offense to anyone,of course) I wear concealer sometimes if something is REALLY noticeable, and if im going out i wear lip gloss and eye shadow. But thats all. I would wear eye liner but i have a problem with drawing a straight line. (don't ask)
