I dunno. Religion has always been just talk for me. I mean, i can say "i believe in" etc or not. It's just talk.
OF COURSE, i will never believe in some old crappy book like the bible or some shit like that. Because its just dogma crap. But "god", what does that fucking mean? A superpower? the physical laws? etc... It just doesn't matter and it has never affected my decisions except in shit debates.

I could start to believe in god today and follow stupid codes. But it won't matter anyway : its will always be me following the bible, teh kuran or whateva. Just crap.

Whatever, i don't mean to argue with anyone, i'm just telling how i feel about this useless shit.
Philosophy is useful thu. I mean, with some good philosophical knowledge you can be pretty much not be influenced by any control-hungry dogmas... But of course always question things, or you will end up being brainwashed by some shit or another.

    lol, DIS IZ TEH GAME!!!!!!!

Perhaps it doesn't matter in the end what u believe, but in what u do.

God is only a word. There is no truth in it. Be.

Be what you want to be. Be all that you can be.

Do not worry about what you believe.

If you are a good person, and do not believe in God.
And one day, you die, and see that God exists.
Would God punish a good person just for not believing in him?
When God is all-knowing and all-understanding?
Shoudl he not understand your lack of evidence and lack of trust
    In other humans?
Who lie, cheat, and create stories?

If this God cannot understand this SIMPLE proposition,
Then I would rather fight in Hell's army,
Should that exist to begin with.

    =)

Let's just say that you don't really have to "believe" anything per se....what you have to do is "align" yourself with what we call the God force.....

Intresting concepts, but you blew it with the Christianity bashing. I have also rejected much of Christianity but would never be so disrespectful to a belief system. One person's lie is another holy truth.
I have total respect for that and the beliefs of everyone, provided they do not cause harm/offence to others.

    Anyway...

Belief isn't just talk; it is the essence of our views of the world, that which we hold true, what we consider the best way to live our lives. And how we act/think as a result.
Everyone has belief, even atheists (in that they believe there is no God).

Whether that involves signing up to a set religion isn't strictly relevant. I have many beliefs, most of which can be found within various religions. Though I have never felt a compulsion to dedicate myself to one such religion, too many other equally viable options, and I'm not convinced any one religion has the monopoly on what is right.

Simply discussing spiritual concepts is a form of worship to many. I, for one, am happy to facilitate that.

"Wherever two or more of you are gathered..." (Matthew 18:20).

Thanks to the forums, we can gather together even from great distances and at different times. Our thoughts and words hang in the ether, a form of spiritual enegry in electronic suspension. Actually, it's really cool, if you think about it.

Its funny but my feelings and thoughts on the subject are almost the reverse of what the original poster stated.
    [err. .without the contempt heh]

I enjoy a good convo, some theorising, some passionate discussion of all these doctrines, evidences etc...
.. but during the day, this is all just a side-issue for me.

The reality of day to day living with a God working through my life is the real substance of it all.

    Thats my experience anyway.

When we interact with others, we are grasping for pieces to complete our metaphysical mystery jigsaw. Of course, most of us never quite complete the thing, but we come upon quite a few startling insights on the way......
