Your system in your room. Pictures if possible. Descriptions of it and how it came to be. Okay, so my mom and I were going into GoodWill one day. Yes, the same GoodWill where I got my pimped out pink super -recliner for $35. I had gotten a couple records from my grandparents (they were actually my uncle but he had passed away quite some time ago). I was pretty musically ignorant at the time so I barely knew any good bands or groups and came back from my grandparents with some Pink Floyd, Eagles and some Ozzy (I don't listen to Ozzy much but at the time I was happy to have someone I knew). Over time I have gone back and gotten many other awesome records from them (Frampton, Clapton, Steppenwolf, Doobies, Santana and so on.) So we're in this GoodWill and I'm kind of browsing through all of the musical equipment for a record player. my parents had thrown all their records and record players away. Well, they gave them away. But lucky me I find a old system for $50. It had like 10 inch speakers that barely worked. A decent glass covered case. We had to buy a needle for the redcord player on our way home. That Christmas (I'm not a christy but my parents are so we celebrate Christmas anyways ) I got a $100+ Sony 5 Disc cd player for the sound system. I had already blown the speakers it came with out but had gotten my dad's semi-nice speakers with an agreement. Eventually I failed to keep up the agreement and got them taken away. So I spent like 5-6 months speakerless yet still buying records. I could only listen to music on my computer because I had given my mom my old cd player (the boom box cd players with tape, radio and cd thing). But I finally got my new speakers a couple of days ago. My birthday present (I turn 16 on friday ) because I couldn't get a car until I raised my GPA to 3.0 or above. They work awesome. I reconnected everything, popped in a techno, pumped up the bass and turned up the volume. They shake the house . They were like $70 per speakers and are pretty nice. KLH audio systems. 12" subwoofers. So I spent $50 for a crappy system and end up spending about $200+ all together not counting records. It does have a couple of problems that irritates me. Somehow, like a week after I bought it, something happened to make it so as long as the system is on the turntable turns. So to put on a new record you either have to turn the system off or put the record on while the turntable is moving and hope you don't mess it up. Also, something is wrong with the needle or something because mine skips like crazy. I played a Ozzy record on my grandma's turntable when i first started getting records and the record was superb. I play it on mine and it skips like crazy. So I don't play many records now, or not until I fix it. One of My New Speakers By My Ghetto Recliner: My Sound System (cd player is under PS2):
