Please could you guys tell me what you think is wrong with these? Here's my leaves: Different plants, same strain, same conditions: Late flowering under HPS.12/12. Nutes:Formulex (5-10ml tsp./Ltr, 1/wk), De-chlorinated water, compost pH:6.8-6.9 poor pic, but left leaf: Healthy colour but brown tips on every spike, classic nuteburn? Right leaf: Yellowing leaf with random brown spots around the ends, but not every spike -?. Thanks for any thoughts.
I think they are hungry, looks like they either need more magnesium or more calcium. Do you feed with tap water or rh water? If tapwater, then is it hard or soft? Lots of times if you feed with either rh water or really soft tapwater deficiencies like that show up, if this is your problem then check out cal-mag from botonicare. edit: Yeah IMO after looking again I think your problem is magnesium. If the leaf is yellowing but the vein is still green then it definately is. You can use epsom salt to fix this problem if you plants are hungry. Also, I'm not framiliar with those nutrients, but just know that too much calcium will lock out magnesium,if you've been feeding alot of calcium that's something to know (Also water with too much chlorine can lock out mag) If that's the problem, then you don't want to add any more mag to the soil. Good luck and stay safe, I hope I've been some help.
Hey Thanks Lune, I guess if they're yellow, they're lacking something. I'm just surprised because Formulex (From Growth Technology) is supposed to be a fully balanced complete food. It has Ca, Mg, P, K, N etc. I dunno how soft my tap water is, but I've been leaving it stand for a few days to get out the Chlorine. I sprayed 'em with epsom salts, maybe we'll se an improvement. Cheers
