I actually love Modest Mouse. Jefferson airplane is really good too. Or you could just go with the generic Hendrix or Grateful Dead. Both of them sound amazing on Acid.
modest mouse kinda wierd never listen to that kind of musicm but as i read u gotta expand ur mind. if i gottn hits in next 2 days would they b good next weekend? jefferson airplane pretty cool. any others are much appricated, and any tips on safe keeping for a 6 hour ride to my home town?? ideas?? ok and for all you candyflippers and xtc rollers. im sure u listen to techno rave music like that wants to get u to moving and feeling the music deep down... would it be a such a bad idea to try it on acid?? my first trip gonna be my last it a 6 hour trip where i got to get it and i gottta try it 1 time and i got the chance. i got a girl thats scared to take it any advice? she hardly evn smoke pot but she willing to do it cuz im doing it. i think it may b a bad idea if she actually dnt want it she wont admit it but i know i can tell, wouldnt that just cause her to have a bad trip no matter how happy she was when she was around me??? thanls for the advice... Hey we need more chemist out there x ans Lucy gtn kinda scarce from what i heard im gonna have 1 bad ass date with lucy
My god all music is just incredible on acid really. Ive even found myself listening to rap and actually enjoying it. However I have a couple of specific songs I would like to recommend. The entire Pink Floyd album "Dark Side of the Moon" was made for people to listen to while tripping and it will certainly blow your mind with all the sound effects and fantastic musical compositions. However if you dont want to do the whole album I would like to suggest that you download the first three tracks. 1."Speak to me" 2."Breathe" 3."On the run" The tracks run together so it will seem to be one cohesive song. All three tracks together is only about 6 or 7 minutes but it is remarkable and you will have time to listen to other stuff too.
wow guys, no offence but how and the hel you listen to this stuff?? i cnt get in to it at all maybe 1 out of 10 ppl tell me to get is ok........ unless u just gotta b trippn to get into it i dunno but wierd stuff thats fo sho. i still havnt found somthing inbetween so any suggestions much appricated.. THANKS
just crank techno if thats what you like. if you listen to music just bcoz its trippy for someone else its not gonna do much. you have to be able to enjoy what your hearing. some techno i like on acid is more chilled stuff like.. ultrabeat, dj hixxy, scott brown, recon, tiesto, cascada i listen to all kinds of music on drugs its just what your in the mood for. i like a bit of soft rock, aussie hiphop, gangsta rap, techno, trance, hardcore, rnb, drum n bass just enjoy it!
omg, wow that brought back the greatest feeling ever, techno dancing and driving smoking a blunt with a best friend, damn i wish the xtc wasnt so bad for u or id say fuck the cid. but from what i hear its better then e, but i like that happy to be alive feeling and nothing evn matters, going to the thing in the park that spins in circles. wow it crazy how i can feel it like it was yesterday.
I advice you to listen to the stuff you like most sober.. usually a music taste doesn't chance quite that much in a trip.
nothing better than shpongle. but you cant really get just one song. get the full album Are You Shpongled? and you will have an insane time
First time I dropped I listened to sphongle, infected mushroom, and Hallucinogen. It was like hearing music for the first time. The whole sphongle cd is amazing as well is The Lone Deranger by Hallucinogen, all of Infected mushrooms stuff is good. Basically any psy-goa trance music is going to be amazing.
Spongle is good when you are chilling when the effects of drugs are fading. Few times i didn't even recognised it on acid. And one time all I could hear was DMT constantly repeating and nothing else. Most of psychedelic music is great when you are tripping. I like when you can see and feel the music and the energy vibe. Many people think its to heavy what i like but try VA-Lyserg Lesson 1.
Try Pavaroti! hahaha... just kidding! Sphongle-Vibrasfere! Twilight twisters Actually any Psytrance! But if you want really extreme mind fucking expirience, than try to find anything from Kindzadza
listen to what you like. dont go searching for THE perfect song. your taste will change rapidly. it did for me any way. but hell listen to jazz if your looking for suggestions. its crazy while your tripping
Well aside from the obvious bands 96% of people would say, I also say: My Bloody Valentine Mazzy Star Pixies Beethoven(moonlight sonata and the 5th symphany specifically) Sonic Youth Garbage Dresden Dolls The Beach Boys The Cranberries Rasputina Patti Smith Leonard Cohen / Bob Dylan(their folky songs are very emotional) Those all worked really well for me on acid.
When you get rollin, your instincts will take over and the music will take care of itself. However if you want to start off in the right direction I highly recommend that you initially set the mood with... "Dreams of Freedom - Ambient Translations of Bob Marley in Dub" by Bill Laswell. It act's like a warm blanket comforting your soul and will definately plant the seeds of positive vibrations for you to feed upon. And you can't go wrong with anything by Ravi Shankar (remember it's all about expanding your mind and concsiousness). If your looking for a more profound, mind blowing experience, pick up the DVD "Pink Floyd - Live at Pompei" and add that to your trippin' program. Then again, it might just be a little too freaky for a first timer. Maybe build up to it once you have a trip or two under your belt. It can be rather intense if your not well grounded. Overall, I would say stick to the fun, positive stuff. Whatever makes you feel comfortable. Oh, almost forgot... the Beatles "Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" is a classic pshychedelic trip in itself. It will certainly give you an ear to ear grin. And when you're in that cosmic dimension don't be too surprised if you see John and George stopping by for a cup a tea and a scone. Just don't let Yoko in, she'll steal your wallet. Bon Voyage.
