    you cant trust all compilations. sometimes it seems they just run out of bands and put stuff on just because some people think they're associated with a genre

    would horrorpops really be classified as psychobilly?
    i love them but....
    just because they have a double bass player doesnt mean they can be classified as any sort of 'billy
    its just punk really. theres none of the 12 bar blues classic rock sound there

    The Meteors are the best psychobilly band...
    listen to Klingonz too. they are good. and the cramps. etc

    tucson austin baton rouge , good citys fer psychobilly. i can only tell if they are cuz they got guttbuckets squeezeboxes n shit. im told im tonedeaf. its not obvious till i sing. seen one show dude was bangin n blowing a bumjug. bit like a triangle or cowbell.if it aint fun dont do it.

    Batmobile, Hellbillys, The Meteors, Demented Are Go, and The Cramps have pretty good songs. I agree with the second post, Songs the Lord Taught Us is a very good album. I also like Bad Music for Bad People.

    The Horrorpops are pretty fantastic to me. I'm listening to them right now. I saw them along with Danzig, Gorgeous Frankenstein, and suicide city. it was last sunday at the roseland theatre.

    i just saw the ghouls about a month ago while i was travlin the west coast in berkely at the gilman, everyone is namin some good pyscobilly bands, but nobody has said anything bout mad sin, check them out mad sin embodys pyscobilly
