Haha, was testing out my switchable 400w MH last night and it blew aswell....what a kawinky dink!! Don't have any experience personally with envirolites but i've seen quite a few people use them and get great results.

I know exactly what you mean, if you don't have a second opinion....you start questioning yourself. Don't mind dropping by at all, love seeing your gals!! Can't wait to see some pics....i bet they're getting big. Keep us posted!

    so on with the pictures.

first is the a shot of the grow to give some idea of hight.

this next shot shows the mass of potentual bud sites.

hopefully the close leaf growth is a sign of BUD!!!!!

and another shot of the growing root system.

Very nice my friend. Those are some good looking girls. I've seen that deformed leaf structure a few times, even seen a grow where there was a bud growing in that spot where the blades come together to form the leaf.....sometimes these plants do weird things!!! Keep doing what your doing, you'll have bud in no time.

Bro that looks awesome, great work. I'm constantly questioning myself also - that's lead to alot of plants gettin hurt let me tell you lol. Glad the lst is working out for ya, its doing some good for me over here too, lots of tops! Just curious, are you trimming any leaves off? I've heard lots of conflicting info on this, some people trim leaves so more light get to the budsites, others leave the leaves on. Right now I've leavin them on and just tucking some fan leaves outta the way, but I've never done this before either so it's all new to me...

Good photography, like shamanic steve said. I don't have the patience or the skill to get pics like those, mine always have sucked and odds are will continue to suck well into the future. Anyway man its good to see that your plants are doing good, they look healthy and pretty flawless on your part so whatever your doing keep doin it! I just read up on great white shark a bit more, sounds truely bomb, shanibaba sure knows whats up when it comes to breeding. I read a post on another board that said to look out for a candy tasting pheno, and lots of guys who grow on whole nother level guys like you and me (ie: larger scale) were praising it. Damn I might have to grab me a pack...

thanks for your comments guys, its much appreciated.although in all honesty i cant take credit for the pictures, thats all my bros doing.

in answer to your question lune,up until today i hadnt trimmed anything, but i went in with the scissors today and was quite brutal.i wanted to wait until they started to flower before i started so as to not put them under too much stress.but today i took out alot of the lower larger fan leaves(not just to let light in but to be honest they really werent getting alot down there anywho) and also trimmed a few of the lower branches just the little ones that grow in the nodes.hope this helps

^^^Hey guys!! In all honesty, trimming leaves to let light in is just plain crazy!!! The only time i find it necessary to trim leaves is if, one, they are more than 50% damaged (deficiency, toxicity, insect bites, etc.) or, two, if im doing a SOG and i need better air-flow through the bottom of the plants......other than that....i just leave 'em be. But, to each his own ;)

Anywho, keep up the good work....can't wait to see the next updates!!

ye i kinda agree maniac but if you see in the pictures, they were so bushy lower down there was little room for air circulation and also alot of the new growth was getting really deformed due to lack of light, most of the smaller branches wont amount to much and reading up alot ppl think its waisted energy that could be spent producing buds.

it is the first time i have tried this so we shall see if it works out, but i couldnt even see through foliage at the bottom before, ill post some pics on monday to see the difference.

Hmmm, i see what your saying. If you trim off the lower growth the plant WILL focus more on the top part.......but when you trim off the secondary branching.....your minimizing your harvest....I know, a good bit of 'em would just be "airy", popcorn buds.....but nonetheless, still potent buds!!! Even when i trim lower parts of the plant....i only trim the fan leaves, and leave the secondary branching......i don't know, as stated before, to each his own.......im just a firm believer in not trimming ANYTHING if you don't have to....

Anywho, keep up the good work!!

well time for a well overdue update and a few pics, there hadnt been a whole bunch happening up until 3 or 4 days ago, when the girls started really showing alot of femininity ))).
they started to show signs of flowering probably a week to 10 days ago,but now are looking quit nice.
    so here we go:

    this is the canopy
    [IMG]
and now a few bud shots
    [IMG]

and finally a view of the potential bud sites
    [IMG]
all the above can be seen in my gallery.

see maniac didnt take too much out)) but you can see why i had to clear some of it away, its a full canopy and there is not alot of light getting through.
p.s photographed by me this time with some tuition from my bro

I know what ya mean about the trimming spooons. Up until now I've never trimmed a plant, but then again I've always either topped or just had a single cola on each one, but with the LST there are alot of tiny (future) budsites towards to bottom that are just getting no light at all. Anyway I cant wait to see how that garden ends up in a few weeks, like you said bro you have a whole lot of budsites there, damn fine job! Any smellyness yet?
