Personally I prefer to take length rather than girth as I already have a very tight rectum, which can make penetration tricky at the best of times. However, a thin 'pencil dick' is ideal. It goes in easier & is better for nice easy strokes on the subsequent thrusting / drawing.

Girth may well be preferable to length for Vaginal stimulation (in which regards, I am what might be considered blessed), but for Anal it's definitely a curse.

 

For me.. generally thicker feels better.. eventually, but can often take longer to get to the point where I can take it comfortably.. Longer and thinner is more.. immediately accessible.
