After I was my dreads ( they are only about 2 months old ) they seem to just frizz up and untangle ( unusual, coz when i had straight hair it would tangle BADLY)

I back comb it a little afterwards, im just wondering if its better to just leave it be?
btw im not using wax or any products, just residue free handmade natural soap.

    fire away :)

try a saltwater rinse when you wash it. Saltwater can help knot your hair up, gives it more texture. I'm not sure about the backcombing after washing, i've never tried it.

are they supposed to come loose so much though?
I kinda haveot keep them presentable for work though ( which suks)
id let them go wild if i didnt, id just completely leave them to their own devises

mine fell out almost completely within the first month and i was left with about an inch of knotted hair. its all matting back up now though, so its ok for them to come undone. but if you have to keep them looking neat, i suggest twisting and ripping rather than backcoming, it seems to stay in a bit better and looks quite tidy if you do it right. just grab the tip of your dread near the end, separating it into two, then rip the two sections apart quite hard. this forces a bit of knotted hair up to the dreaded part. just keep this up till you get to the end and palmroll. if you have really silky strair hair you might need to agitate it a bit with you fingers or a comb before ripping so theres actually a knot to move up if that makes sense. its actually quite fun, i love doing it to my friends dreads. hope this helps :)

Mine look crazy after washing :p it's totally normal, I wouldn't backcomb if they have tightened up, because you kill the knots you have allready when you rebackcomb. Just let them be.
