Post your favorite photographer and either a link or sample of their work. To me, the most brilliant photographer of the 20th century would have to be Ansel Adams.
there chuck I moved it for you...just in case madi hadn't seen your request....and I would have to agree with you on your choice of Ansel Adams sorry I haven't been around much to have any imput into this forum...but life has been rearing it's head here lately and keeping me busy...but it seems to have taken off with great support
Yeah, thanks. I'm looking forward to getting back into this hobby that I've been ignoring for years now. Thanks for starting the forum.
No one else has a favorite photographer? Come on, how can you learn if you don't study the works of others? Maybe it's just a local photographer. I like the works of a guy on our local newspaper. He's very good. Here's one of his shots (first one) of a rainbow that showed up one day on our fair city. I saw the same rainbow, but you can tell the difference in work. I couldn't find a spot to take the whole thing together:
yeah chuck so do I...I have been away from the photographic world for awhile...and technology has surpassed me....I am learning the process all over again....thanks for the praise...but this forum is madi's doing...I just gave her a hand in getting it started..she is the force behind this forum taking off...along with people such as yourself this post may be a bit off topic from your original post but just as I am rusty in the photographic world I am just as rusty in my photographic history and artist appreciation....but Adams is a definite classic and his works will prevail for years to come...
