So I've only had one piercing before, my eyebrow, but I was unfortunately unable to keep it due to parental constraints and whatnot back in High School. I'm now in College and I've been considering for a long time getting snake bites (dual lower lip piercings). I'm wondering how lip rings scar after being taken out (after a few years or whatever). Is it like a small dimple beneath your lip or like really noticeable. My eyebrow healed up real nicely after the ring and you can't even tell I had one. What are everyones opinoin on snake bites? I'm not worried about pain because although I hate needles I actually enjoyed getting my eyebrow pierced it didn't hurt at all. Other thing I'm worried with is finding a job somewhere in the near future but I think if some place won't hire me for something I do to my body then I probably shouldn't work there either. Oh right now I have a jew fro going on (my hairs super curly) and I'm thinking bout getting dreads within the next few months if that helps anyone on whether or not I should.

I've seen lip rings heal to be invisible and I've seent them look like a bad pimple scar. Totally depends on the gauge, how healed it is, and your body. If you tend to keloid or scar heavily, it'll probably be more noticeable.

If you're going to have dreads, then I'd imagine lip rings wouldn't make you any more unemployable. My thinking has always been that if they're assholes about piercings and tattoos, then they'll be assholes about other things, and you're best not working there.

I've only had my center labret pierced once, but I took it out after 4 months of having it. The hole went down nicely and theres just a little scar on it. You can only notice it if you look for it, but other than that I usually keep the hair on that part grown anyways (and even when its shaved, you cant really tell).
