i just think its funny how readily people especially pacifists label so many revolutionaries as too violent convincing conformists they are too greedy isnt easy plus they all pretty much die unnaturally and often early maybe power doesnt necessarily corrupt maybe its more the obvious intensity involved with any defiance of the mainstream would you take the job? and IF you did would you just live out in the open? they needed to live how they lived what good is a starving dictator?
Alright, I wouldn't take the job. Better no revolution then one with a dictator at the end. Why did you specified the question for ww2 era dictators only? Is there a large difference with other ones?
It could have been fun, but I don't think I'd have liked the way they all ended up. Living the life of a dictator would be a bit much with constant threats on your life and all.
no. i'd have been wwii era railway telegrapher, or radio specialist. if not rural farmer, a loooong way from any front. preferably in back here in the western hemisphere where i am. =^^= .../\...
"Would you take the job"? The role of a dictator is not given to you, it requires years and years of plotting and conspiring! Trust me, I've tried.
