yeah.. I love it Porque tus amores perros me van a matar sin haberme dado la felicidad. (Immediately got the song from the soundtrack in my mind when I read the title of this thread) Have you seen 21 Grams? Is from the same director.
Yeah I've seen 21 Grams. It's equally as harrowing and depressing but a good movie nonetheless. Naomi Watts is amazing in it. If it weren't for Charlize Theron's performance in Monster I'd say they should've given the Oscar to Naomi. Have you seen Babel? It has Gael Garcia Bernal in it as well as Adriana Barraza (the lady who played Gael's mother in Amores perros.) Gael es muy, muy guapo! Which song popped into your head? I love the song from the trailer ("De Perros Amores") it's my myspace song too.
the one from Julieta Venegas for the movie, it's called Amores Perros, like the movie. I also think that Naomi Watts was excellent in 21 Grams.. in that one scene that she has the phone... and is all.. wow.. I can feel her pain. and Yes, Gael es muy, muy guapo! I've seen a lof ot his movies, Bad Education is cool, is a film by Almodovar, the spanish director. I saw Babel, I liked it, but not as much.
That same exact scene sticks in my head as well (at least the one I think you're referring to) the one where Christina is laying down crying her eyes out listening to the voicemail over and over. Inarritu and Arriaga (the director and screenwriter, respectively, of Amores perros, 21 Grams, and Babel) are a match made in heaven. It's too bad they have creative differences now (or so I've heard.) Bad Education is really good. Another one of my favorites. I seen it once but I remember being a bit confused by it (I think it was the amount of characters that Gael played was what confused me.) Have you seen Y Tu Mama Tambien? I love the scene where Gael and Diego Luna makeout. XD
Yeah, I've seen Y Tu Mama Tambien, didnt like it though. I guess when I finally got to see it, there was too much hype around the movie and I was expecting more of it. The song, Im not sure if it's in that scene, because there are two songs, with the same name in the soundtrack. One is by Control Machete and Ely Guerra and the other one is by Julieta Venegas, Im a big fan of Ely, but the one I was singing is Julieta's
