okay, I've had a couple of lucid dreams. I remember my first lucid dream was as a child ( i noticed a person in my house that would never actually be in my house in real life)... i realized it was a dream and said the name of my favorite Nsync member "JC" :& :::embarssed::::& where we flew over a huge carnival. The dreams I have usually vivid enough for me to remember then many years after I've had them. Well, the reason why I've posted this thread is to discuss a nightmare I had as a child, and nightmares I have to this very day with similar characteristics. I was wondering if this was still a lucid dream. Okay, in my dream I 'm running... I'm in my own body (i dont see myself running)...and i'm running down this long street...to the sides of the streets are dense woods...the leaves on the plants and trees are huge...and although its light outside...as soon as i run into woods it becomes dark... that is when i look back and realize i am running from a woman (who bares a strong resemblance to the exorcist, only lol...her face wasn't so cheesy looking...she looked real)...she wasn't even running...more like GLOATING (gliding and flying) toward me!! Well, as you may predict, as soon as i look back... i trip over a log...but here's where it gets weird....i wake up...i'm fully awake....though i cannot open my eyes...I feel as tho she's there infront of my face in real life...so I'm completely paralyzed...my eyes will not open...and check this...the dream is still effin going...she's getting closer and closer to me...untill i finally yell, open my eyes, and jump out'a bed...all at the same time... there was no question about it...i was fully awake from the time when i tripped...and the dream went on a significant amount...I've more than one dream like this and they are the worst!! what could they be??
people, just like you and me, working for governments or other intrests, or rarely, for their own amusement, telepathicly stepping into your dreams/mind. the ARN'T all powerful, though you can't always overwhelm them, just remember that whatever they can do, in/to your dreams and 'waking dreams' YOU CAN DO ALSO! sometimes, well yes, nonphysical spirit people can do this too, but, contrary to what many fanatics would have us to believe, it is people living in this life that have by far the greater motivation to do so. i would think of it as something like a really sick haloween prank. there are people in the employ of certain government agencies who do this sort of thing for a living, especially now that some of these agencies have gotten politicised for rather callus economic purpossess, a lot more then ever they had been even in the past many decades, as long as some of these agencies have existed at all. i'm not saying this is any sort of a main function, or that most of the people even IN the agencies involved even have the slightest inkling any such thing is going on. but they do have a certain, almost understandable paranoia, of potential dreamshapers not in thier own stable. =^^= .../\...
What comes to mind is that you are so "into" the dream that upon running it jars you into a semi-conscious state, one in which you are still dreaming. Before getting into the meanings of the dream, have you taken notice of the things that tend to happen when you get these dreams? They may be a timing trigger (usually with a week to 4 weeks of the event.) As to the meaning of the dream, you are running down a long isle. You probably are desperate for the solution to a problem. You enter a dark forest. This may indicate asking advicde from "bad" friends, getting into drugs and alcohol, or more likely a looming depressive state and stage. One side of the street could signify your rational self, the other the raw untamed subconscious. The decision is therefore split between what you know you should do (duty) and what you desire (freedom). The darkness portends depression. The leaves and trees may symbolise that you feel "small" in comparison to the problem, that you fell that it is beyond you, that it is greater than you can bear, etc. The woman you are running from may be a "bad" event that is likely to happen if you are at the wrong place at the wrong time. (If it were just black magick, then it could portend things like your car gets stolen or broken into, you're mugged or robbed, etc.) But she symbolises something evil and menacing. It may be "bad luck" or travesty. [You'll have to try to find prior correlations between the nightmare and actual events, if any.]
thanx for ur help guyz... white feather...i never thought about my dream how you explained it..i guess i was more so side tracked by how scary it was to even look deeper into the meaning...it does make alot of sense =)
