i had to walk 6 blocks to my bus stop in 6th grade
when there was a stop 1 block away, but they wouldn't pick me up there

it was good though, cuz i got to go to the bakery to get some food before school. but was lame that i had to walk that far

    that is absolutely hilarious.

i always got pissed as fuck when the neighbors let their kid play in my parents' yard. but then my parents had 3 acres and the neighbors had like 10, so there was no excuse. i really don't know how it is in the suburbs, but from what i've seen on tv that's just to be expected

I don't think you're overreacting at all...I personally would never let my children play in someone else's yard uninvited, and certainly not be taking their pet over as well. But, some people tend to lack common courtesy it seems.

I would have Andy say something, not really being confrontational, but kind of turn it back around, as it you're more concerned about something happening to one of their kids, that Gracie isn't used to being around little ones. I don't know, something like that.

Or you could be like my husband and just give it to them full force, tell them they need to stop kicking balls onto your cars, stop playing in your yard and stop bringing over their dog!

Me, I hate causing tension, so I'd pick the first one. ;)

    I missed you :)
I'm going to have Andy say something. It isn't fair that I have to close the blinds and was not able to take my dog for a ride in the car because their dog was not on a leash.

no thoughtlessness is ever innocent. no you are NOT over reacting. your neighbor needs to get themselves a conscience, possibly even learn what the hell one is.

I completley agree. Why does everyone assume others love their kids as much as they do?

Not to mention, teach their puppies (kids) some consideration/respect for others!

I would lose my shit on those people. I'd pelt their kids with their own soccer balls, and drop the planter on the pitbull's head. I hate disrespect and carelessness.

Or you could just put your front yard in your back yard, eliminating the problems altogether.
