I feel ripped off

I recently bought a "grow cab" from homegrown-hydroponics.com. I purchased the V3 economy grow box. Anyway i got it the other day and it sucks. Im very disappointed in the amount of money i spent, but o well its just money. The box looked like shit, it was some plastic that came together like legoos., with fans light etc in there. Everything would have been ok, if it actually worked properly.

Firstly, the work on the box looked like some 15 year old kid did it. There was 2 small cracks that happened because they suck at building , the cracks were due to screws that had been put on too hastly probebly.( o well for oder free)

Before putting clones into it, i checked the running temp, and it was horrable.
This unit ran from 95 degrees F to 100 degrees F depending on where in the box you measured the temp. Well i tryed several things to lower the temp, which i was able to do up to 90 degrees. I called the company, and they were of very little help. They told me to remove the carbon filter, and try it like that. I did and this only took the temp to 90. Homegrown hydroponics is a shitty company that builds shitty products, that are way overpriced. They also lie, on the phone when you ask the average running temp of the economy grow box, they say 5-7 degrees over ambient room temperture. They also say that plants in this unit have 30 In to grow before they hit the light, which is a lie there is only 24 inches and since the light is hot, they cant get close to it. Anyway im gonna rape there box for parts and build a new one. Than maybe ill start my own company building grow boxes and build better ones than them.

My advice dont buy from Homegrown-hydroponics, they lie, and cant put a guarantee behind their product.

 

HOLY SHIT!!! I haven't even spent $800 since i started growing.......damn dude. Should have came here and asked about it before you bought it. That is ridiculously over-priced......Id definately be trying to get my money back if i were you. Wow....im speechless.....

 

Wow man, that sucks. I just recently got a bloombox from BC Northern lights. A little pricey but I needed a self contained unit. So far its great. I have 3 plants currently growing in it and they are doing very well. I did get one bad pump that didn't seen to work after I tried it once so I called them and they replaced it. I had a new pump within 2 day of the phone call. Awesome customer service. If you get your money back and are still interested in a growing cabinet, check em out.
