Okay I spilled a box of .22 bullets and while picking them up I wondered if anyone ever like swallowed one? I dont think it would go off oranything as it takes strike force to set off the rim primer. Anyone ever done it before, seems small and easy enough to do.

A bullet? How would a bullet go off on its own?

See thats just it, i dont believe it would go off but then again I am unsure what the effects of the acids in our systems would do to it. Just was a passing thought while cleaning up a mess was all.

haha I wouldn't either way, do you know how hard that would be to pass on(shit) and the metals, and anything else would probably slowly break off a little and make you very sick. but i actually have no clue what would really happen, wouldn't think itd go off though...

Well explosives and gunpowder should be stored in cool places because with heat and time it will sweat and become unstable. So maybe it might go off in a human body. Cheers!

I dont think your stomach acid would have any effect.. ya swallow a penny it still comes out as a penny.. why would a shell be any different.. they're both made of copper right?

a bullet has a brass casing with a lead projectile, occasionally the projectile may have a copper shroud..

a penny is nickel with a thin layer of copper over it..
