Acid > Shrooms

Who agrees that acid is just overall better than shrooms? I've done both and I must say, I would feed shrooms to an enfant.

 

both are great but yea, acid>shrooms

 

acid's more euphoric, and im less likely to freak out on acid. i also prefer the body high. i can move around more on acid, its more social and external, where as on mushrooms i pretty much just wanna sit someplace comfy and enjoy the ride.

Acid by far. I like acid & rolls though, to be honest.

 

I used to like acid way more than shrooms but now that ive got a lot of trips under my belt i gotta say i like them both equally.

 

I think it depends on what you want to do during your trip. I might prefer acid slightly, because I really enjoy being able to do stuff while tripping, but if you just want to go deep deep deep inside your head, shrooms are just as good, if not better. (disclaimer - I have very limited experience with shrooms)

 

I prefer acid but combination of acid and mushrooms is also great.

 

I think I slightly prefer LSD due to the fact it feels more pleasant on your body, the visuals are more detailed and it lasts twice as long. I always found shrooms a little short trips, only 5-6 hours which isn't near enough if the peak is only a smaller part of that.
But shroms have their charm, the total bizarness of thoughts.. its fun in a different way.

Although they're similair they're still quite hard to compare.

 

shrooms are much greater, anyways to me... the weirder the trip the better.
theres something about acid i dont really like, its like youre not really tripping cause you cant really connect the trip to anything natural, its like theres no roots to it and the trip seems a bit fake. but on shrooms it feels like the trip is a completely natural thing and thats why its much more spiritual, what were feeling comes from a friggin shroom and it has much more history to it, i always connect things i see and think with the designs of indian tribes that have been ingesting them for milleniums. shrooms have this really vast context that make it more enjoyable, you can put yourself in the mind of history's trippers.

When i do shrooms, i go back in time, i connect myself with the social history of those who have been eating those shrooms since the beginning of life. I sit down and enjoy the ride, its like having a history class. But acid, its too new, I do it just to get fucked, I cant connect with anything much other than the hippie culture and I dunno... acid speaks to me less. it justm makes me think of the modern world where everything is becoming synthetized for maximum effects.

once we ingested spirituality with shrooms and today with little papers. hmm


and for the freaking out thing, i dunno why u guys find shrooms to be worst, the worst psychological feelings ive had are downright from acid

 

They're both great in their own ways. L seems better at festivals or with a bunch of friends. On shrooms, I just kind of want to sit there and think.

 

I have not ever done shrooms, but i really doubt that anything could be better than my lsd experience.

 

ive always liked acid better, but i had an experience lately that turned me off a bit. shrooms are more psychedelic (or trippy might be the word) in my opinion, and im not speaking out of ignorance here.

 

Man, like I said, to me, acid is the most powerful drug. And when you're finally coming up on those hits, it is the ultimate high. But with shrooms, it feels like a dumbed-down acid trip :/

 

I like acid better because I can actually function on acid, I enjoy the body high a lot more than shrooms, and the trip lasts longer. The main reason I don't like shrooms is because you're only tripping hard for a few hours.

and Stebo are saying, I dont get so far gone as
I do with mushrooms. And Goofydrummer, I agree,
mushrooms are more psychedelic, the weirdness
just cant be matched. I remember feeling external
limbs growing out of my shoulders with eyes attached
to them and looking around corners of my old house
while sitting still on the couch. Never had anything
that mind bending on LSD. Talk about weird, ah why
even bother? Who can even speak the unspeakable?

Well they are actully quite diffrent. On acid the body fry is really euphoric like x. While shrooms the body high is weird it feel like your body is all floaty and stuff but it's cool. Also acid makes you think quicker and feel more stimulated while shrooms clouds your mind and makes everything all confusing and weird. It's kinda hard you explain but on acid you feel more robotic while on shrooms you feel more connected to nature if you do both you'll know what I mean. If you want visuals take acid if you want a complete mind fuck take shrooms.

 

There was always an element of knowing "this is just the psychedelic experience" with shrooms for me, but with lsd it's like blasting off into a whole new existence. Uncharted waters. I'm a bit drunk so excuse me.

 

All of you who are saying you like body high on acid, you didn't actually feell acid completely. You think visuals are main thing on acid, I think you need to up your dose. You felt acid only when you loose your body completely. Those who felt this know what I am talking about, those who didn't, there is only one way-up your dose!
Shrooms are also fun, but more for kids, but they are best when taken together with acid and weed!

 

Shrooms pwn acid. I enjoy the organic and mystical feeling that shrooms provide, and I am always more comfy on shrooms. Acid is great, don't get me wrong, but shrooms actually feel like something that was actually put on earth solely for us to ingest, and the comedown from shrooms leaves me feeling satisfied and fulfilled, while at the same time, feeling energized, refreshed, and ready for whatever.....just happy. Whereas the comedown from a strong acid trip leaves me feeling drained; still fulfilled and satisfied, but without the energy.

 

whether that is a typo or not, it is the most apt way i have read to describe the difference between the two!

on shrooms i remember the main feeling was "yes, yes, of course, why didn't i think of that before, gosh, yes yes of COURSE..." there was a clarity that came and has not yet left again...if it ever will.
