However, George Bush is a great leader compared to Joseph Stalin, who murdered millions, as against only about 3000 American servicemen and women in Iraq and 100,000 or so Iraqis. The "second front" in Western Europe was not begun earlier because the Brits did not want to do it, so it was opened first in Northern Africa, then in Italy, and then in June, 1944 at Normandy. And what American money supported the Nazis? And Stalin abandoned the West in 1939 and formed an alliance with Hitler, and then was bitten in the ass by that madman, who attacked his ally the Soviet Union. Can you see why Britain was a little reluctant to have another Dunkirk in Western Europe before the German air force was beaten and could not destroy the Normandy landing force from the air?

Prescott Bush was later a U.S. Senator, and not a war criminal trading with the enemy. I say this even though I dislike his grandson. You have a stilted view of world history. How could the U.S. fund Hitler in the 20s and 30s. He was a nobody in the 20s (and in jail much of the time) and in the 30s he became dictator in 1933. Just because American and various European companies did business in Germany in the 1930s doesn't mean they funded Hitler.
