Hey, I'm not really fond of smoking (my lungs aren't in that good shape). But like to "use" marijuana. All the recipies to "eat" cannabis seem to contain butter and such (something about THC only absorbed with fat? or something along those lines).
Because I'm a vegan (and dairy product upset my body), can one use vegan dairy free butter (made out of vegtable stuff or something) ?

Or any other ideas how to take marijuana oraly in a vegan way?

    peace

Olive oil and canola oil are used in some recipes. There is also vapourising if you dont like to smoke.

any kind of fat will work to take the THC out of buds/leaves. olive oil would probably be easiest, make some pasta with it or something.

    Sounds tasty ^^

Just for the sake of argument... say i was a raw vegan, how can one get around that? No pasta, bread or cookies and such.

Vaporiezers are expensive though arnt they??

you have to cook it in someway to draw the thc out of the bud, leaves or whatever ur using. heat is what takes the thc from the plant so theres not really much you can do with raw pot. thats why its easiest to just smoke it instead of eating it plain. you could probably eat it raw but you would have to eat so much that it wouldnt be worth it. i would say maybe ur best bet would be to cook it in some olive oil or something like that to get the thc out then maybe put it on a salad or something as a dressing. other then that im not sure whatelse you could do besides a vaporizer. i would say it would be worth the investment in the long run for a vaporizer in your situation.

vegans do the best they can do, and thats good enough. it is pretty much inpossiable to avoid everything. alot of common things arent vegan: tap water, your house, your car.

Why is on whatever forum you mention Vegan, it always turn into a "prove the vegans wrong" ? Im getting sick of it.

But to anwser you question. Manure has nothing to do with veganess, it is a natrual process and we are part of that. no problemo.

I'm not much of an ethic vegan in the normal sense who doesnt want to financialy support the anti-vegan industries, because at the end of the day its the same people who own them, so it never really matters.

I am just of the humble opinon that Meat is not made for the human body to digest (meateaters digestive tracks beeing 3 times there length to get rid of the meat before it rots, and non-carnivoirs+ us have a digestive track of 12 times our length, in which meat rots before getting craped out).

And the consumtion of milk and dairy are beyond me. I live in sweden where they drink the most milk in the world, and also have the highest breast cancer rate in the world. The link is becoming more evident. And anyhow, milk is made for GROWING animals/humans.. not grown ups

And for eggs, I'm gonna quote carlin "why is when its humans its an abortion, but with chickens its an omelette?". I just don't like the idea of hen menstruation.

Nuff said. I know you are not gonna agree with me, so no need to try and prove me wrong.

    peace

My point is i eat vegan more for my own sake, than for the "think about the poor little animals" sake (although i do not approve of animals beeing raised to be slaughterd, but thats another issue).

I don't want to eat something that my body can't really take. I feel lighter, and my mood is better when i refrain from eating meat and dairy. It's really that simple.
