Indoor Smoking Banned

whats everyones favourite choice of steak???? if I ordered one, it would always be a ribeye......... but no one knows how to cook it properly, other than myself...... so Id have to cook it for myself......... medium rare. with grilled onions and mushrooms.

Ribeyes are defiantly the best. Filets really aren't that great. Porterhouses are yummmmm. T-Bones are goood.

 

wrong, smoking ban has been in place in my town for almost 5 years now, and bars havent closed.

Alot depends on the quality of meat. Cooking surface needs to be good and hot... cook one side until bloode surfaces over the entire top then flip-- just once... cook until juices begin to resurface. A small cut through the thickest portion should show pink, not red... perfect in my book.

 

And we thank you for your business. Some places have banned smoking here, including apartments and other rental properties. If you want me to smoke outside, I will out of respect to others with no problems. To tell me I cannot smoke inside my residence is another ball of wax......

 

I can cook em okay on the grill but whenever I try to cook steaks in the house.... well, let's just say that is Dan's job now- the only two things I make him cook- steak and over-easy eggs (ahahahah weird i know... I can cook almost anything but an egg dish!).....

But I would use the broiler- flip once..... steak might turn out okay but it never turns out as tender and stuff as they taste in restaurants.... D says it's because they're using that big grill and all and, of course, we don't have that here.

Yeah, I USUALLY just eat steaks when I go out to eat.

 

Filet Mignon is my favorite -- medium rare.
