Remember when video games were simple?

I am not going to lie, I think the Atari 2600 was the greatested video system ever and that Nintendo was the end of video games being cool. Give me back the simple one joy stick and one button to play.

 

Sega Genesis was awesome, so many memories.

 

I remember when pong was the sh*t. We played it for hours.

 

I grew up with my NES and progressed forward and now own a PC. Games haven't gotten harder. Infact, they're easier. more buttons give you more control. I miss my old NES games, But with a PC I can keep them in ROM form. ^^

 

they aren't easier cause of the controls

they are easier because with the complicated systems people seem to get more frustrated for some reason...
people don't like pretty games to be hard I guess =/

I'm even one of these people, I get bitchy when a game is too easy, but I get super pissed at some of the newer titles if I have any sort've trouble
but I can be stuck on some old genesis game for years and keep coming back for more
I can't figure it out

 

yea...i miss sega...and those really stupid but really fun pc games...like 24 games for windows 95...good times, good times

 

Video games still are simple....

I didn't really like the atari...and segas was ok. The first nintendoes was pretty good, Then the N64 game out....and video games became fucking awsome! My favourite system by far.
