I have been interested in growing mushrooms along time now, soon I will order the B+ strain, a 20ml(or CC I dunno) spore sarynge. I will be using the PF tek. heres my question. Im gonna use brown rice flower and vermiculite and I have 3 questions.

1.brown rice flower is hard to get around here, could I buy packages of brown rice and grind it up and just use that?

2.will a 20ml(or cc) saryinge be enough for 6 half PINT jars?

3.How much will I be able to grow, and how many flushes will grow.

i don't recognize the name, but they may or may not be shroomery sponsors. if they are not - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. all the shroomery sponsors are tried and true - but other vendors can be and sometimes are rip offs.

Why would you say this? I've heard spores101 to be a credible source thus far, but saying the shroomery sucks? Have you been there and participated in actual conversation about cultivating mushrooms? The shroomery is definitely the best source for information reguarding mushroom cultivation on the internet as it has multiple opinions on in-depth topics as well as pictures to help people understand things. Good grow guides as well.

I've been wanting to grow my own too but since I'm not a pharmacist I'm too afraid to order online thinking that the cops will be the ones to deliver my spores to my door. Are these places really legit and is this something I shouldn't be that afraid of?

My turtle doesn't like to use brown rice flour. He likes to use white millet bird seed. He says you're a lot less likely to get contamination. He also says that he usually put 1cc into each pint jar, so you should have plenty. I got this turtle from a guy that used to grow them all the time so he knows quite a bit. If you have any more questions I'll bounce them off him and get back to you.

will the mushrooms be potent? The ones people get down here usual have no visual effects until you eat 4g or somethin like that.

My turtle said nothing beats fresh mushrooms. He said 2g will give you a decent ride with visuals for sure. My turtle says bird seed is easier than brown rice flour also.

SWIM grew some b+ a while back, and they were the best he or anyone he gave them to had ever tried. 1 gram dried felt more like an eighth of bought shrooms.

On the contrary my dear Watson. 1/3 cup water 2/3 cup white millet. Pressure cook for 45min. Done. The nice thing is you don't have to wait as long while the mold is growing in the jar. After you see it start to grow, shake the shit out of it to spread it around. So my turtle says anyway.

Lay down a couple inches of vermiculite in the bottom of a plastic fish tank and keep it moist. Cover the fish tank. Instant humidity. You may have to mist once in a while to keep the humidity up.
