Im 16 despite what the site displays as my age as. I go to a technical school in the mornings, and then go back to my normal high school in the evenings. One day at the technical school it was like a day where we were dismissed at 1:00 from school to go home. One fo my friends told me that there was going to be a drug search back at my home school. A friend told him that there had been two consecutive fire alarms back at my home school, and that during both they were held for long periods of time, that smells like a major drug bust. I was freaking because I had 2 grams and my bowl in my truck. I told my friend That I didnt want to waste any weed so we decided to smoke a considerable amount on the way back to my home school and then before we got back find a place to stash the remaining weed and my bowl somewhere. We smoke two bowls and put the remaining weed back into the bag with my bowl. I couldnt go home because my dad was there and he is super paranoid. And my friend couldnt take it to his because he lived next to a cop, and he lived in an area that he couldnt hide it in his back yard. Plus he had been caught smoking weed like 3 times before, so his parents were like super supicious of him. So we were like FUCK, what are we going to do. I knew a good road that I ride on that ends close to my house and i've smoked on that road numerous times. We ride down far enough that we find a good spot with plenty of leaves (my stash bag was brown so it was all good). I ditch it there and memorize where I put it. Well I get back to school, and start telling my fellow stoners about the rumored search (I had a friend who went into the bathroom when I told him and eat an 1/8th of weed) At the end of the day turns out, no drug search. I leave for that road that I hid my shit on and park on the side. This is a pretty deserted road, adn hardly any cars pass by daily; But to my luck, a damn white suv pulls up and the guy inside says "I saw you here earlier, I live up the hill there. What are you looking for?" I explained that the day before I had been riding by and that I had lost a 100 dollar bill on this road when it flew out the window and that I didnt have time to search for it the day before, and I really wanted to find it. He said "oh well and drove off". Well guess what, I lost the shit; I couldnt find it. I told my friend what had happened and he found it the next day. It had rained on it, but that was cool because it washed some of the reefer smell off of the bag. The only thing I can complain about is that my friend wanted the weed if he found the bag, but I said fuck it half a gram of weed isnt anything to bitch over when I lost an $80 bowl. So it turned out all good in the end, no harm done.
why the fuck didnt you just leave the weed and bowl in your truck and park it down the road from the school?
^^^yes, sounds like much less of a hassle. As long as your shit isn't in plain view.....they have no right to search your truck.
unless they have a drug dog, in which case they can search whatever they like. IDK about where you live, but in my school district it was against the law to physically search the students if a drug dog gave an alert. they were only alowed to search your property (bags, lockers), and only if you were present and nobody else was. so, put your shit in your pocket next time.
My thougts exactly. Park a block away from school and walk there. They dont have a right to search your car unless it is on school grounds.
I would have but I live in Virginia and my school is right on a main highway, if I was to park sumwhere else I would have had to walk a mile to get back to school. It's kinda isolated here.
were i live if you buy a parking sticker they have the right to search you, your car, and any of your possessions as well as drug test you. most kids didn't read the parking sticker paper so a couple off ppl have gotten busted. then again mos tof the stoners at my school don't park on school property anyway so they don't have to worry.
No offense dude, but that sounds really paranoid. I just carry it around with me at all times. They make sure they have a lockdown or firedrill so you won't hide your stash that could be in your locker. They also do it because they can't really search you with a drug dog, if it jumped on your or hurt you or something there would be liability issues. Like, why couldn't your friend just take the pot and go inside his house, it's not like the cop living next door will automatically know he has weed... Sorry for the assholish comments, it just seemed to hassle me when my friends used to do that... Peace!

Since when does the government have the right to perform random searches on teenagers just because they're likely to have pot? These are groundless searches. I don't know where you live, but in America cops aren't supposed to be able to search you just because they want to. They have to have actual evidence of illegal activity, otherwise they are breaking the law. What the fuck is this, a communist country? What are we, cattle? I'm so sick of shit like this. Cops harassing 16 year olds. What has the world come to?
i would think the government funded part would be to their disadvantage. I mean, if you are basically forced to attend this government controlled facility, why should that mean your government given liberties are thrown out the window? You would think that your rights would be more carefully observed because it is government funded. Kid in my school got in trouble for papers, only papers, administration called it paraphernalia, even though it is specifically against our local law to have any tobacco product under 18/19, and that would have been a more appropriate charge. Anyway, they used the papers as an excuse for a drug test and fucked them over. If rolling papers are viewed by the law as a tobacco product, why should that be allowed to be used as evidence of probable marijuana use. [/end rant]
What makes you so sure? If the dog alerts a poilce officer about the presense of narcotics doesn't that give them the right to search you? I do agree with what you said about the cop though. Just because he lives next door doesn't mean he's going to break into your house for a weed search when you go to school.
