Ok, I was completely bored and wanted to put down in words what has been going through my mind lately. I want to start of stating I have no other clue where this would fit in on these forums... But, please REMEMBER that this was created only to make you think, or stop thinking, which ever suites you best. Need I remind you that I was bored again? >_> The Theory that Shouldn’t Even Exist This is my very own account of my theory on life – in all of its forms, types, and everything else that can be listed. Furthermore, this theory applies to everything and nothing at the same time. Although the theory might not make sense, or, may never make sense, why should it? Why, only so we can understand it. But, being humans, we aren’t capable of understanding everything. So, it will be my pleasure to either confuse you, or spark your own ideas on this mental journey for meaning to everything and nothing. Let’s start with basic stuff, such as, elements. How much more basic can you get? (Don’t say “quarks”, smarty-pants, this is just for explaining) Each element can be added with other elements to make substances – ranging from gasses to physical objects such as metals. Now, lets look at something different, in fact, completely different. I am even amazed that I can mention its existence. And by that, I mean nothing. No, I’m not giving up on trying to explain this, I literally meant “Nothing”, as in, the emptiness of space. No gasses, no molecules of anything – just nothing. “Now, what’s so interesting about nothing?,” you might be asking. Well, everything, if you want a blunt and quick answer. It is this “nothing” that everything exists in, and it just so happens that this “nothing” can go on forever. Beyond the bounds of space is even more space. And, need not forget, even more empty space beyond that. Sure, space has a couple galaxies and universes inside it here an there, but not enough to really “fill it up”. Otherwise, I would be saying that we are “nothing in an existence of anything”. So, according to my theory, everything we see and are, are in an existence of nothing. Does that sound confusing, intriguing, or just plain stupid? Either way, I got you to start thinking. You might be saying, “Now wait a minute, but this and that, and this and that…” Great! You’re starting to draw out your own theory! (Or run off of mine, you cheater!). But, allow me to delve even further into this mess. Let’s go all the way back to the very beginning of creation and time. (I would like this chance to point that time is just a perception that man has made. The only true way to track something is by movement and change. So, I will try to refrain from mentioning “time” for this sake.) Now, what do you picture when I say “creation of the universe, space, and matter”? Do you picture the big bang? Do you picture a “God” putting planets, stars, and moons in their place? I myself picture nothing. Absolutely nothing at all – and there we go again on that whole “nothing” thing. But, here we are, we just named “nothing” a thing. Get my picture yet? Perhaps I can make this even clearer to you by saying that without nothing, you can’t have anything. Nothing can’t exist without having at least SOMETHING in it. My proof? Well, take a look around – the fact you are even alive supports my case. Otherwise, you would have less than nothing, which, I don’t call anything because it fits it perfectly. My last attempt to make this clear is that “nothing” is like an infinite canvas for an infinite picture. Now we are on to something even more fun than the last subject! How did the elements even get created in the first place? Well, let’s set your mental image state to the same picture as mine. As of right now, at this very imaginative moment, the universe, galaxy and everything beyond that is nothing. Everything is completely empty and barren, just a deep dark blackness that extends forever. Ok, now we have that image set up we can start. But, wait, here’s the only problem… The universe and everything beyond has been the same forever. Literally, it has never changed. Everything you see now, and don’t see, has been around forever. It was never created – and therefore it can never be destroyed, which I mean down to even the sub-atomic level. Need a mental diagram? Ok, draw a circle and label it “The Beginning and Ending of Everything”. You now might be saying “Oh, ok, I think I get what you’re trying to say.” Well, more than likely you aren’t getting it. You’re looking at the lines you made, but look on both sides of the line. You can only see what is inside of the circle, or outside of the circle. Now look at this life, and everything about it. You are only looking at what is in this life, but you can’t see what is outside of it. Outside of life is that “nothing” I was talking about. We have always had something and nothing co-existing on a thin line… But… What if this line simply fell apart, and nothing was keeping the two from mixing? Well, there you have the answer again. Nothing will be keeping the two from mixing. The point of this whole document was not to say “I’m right!!! Everyone else is wrong!!” That would itself be wrong. This was only to show others what I feel and think of this existence. I might be wrong in some of my information, but, then again, that’s not the point. In-fact, I don’t think this document should even exist because nothing created me, electricity, paper, plastic, metal, or anything at all.
I have seen nothing and it is not kind, it emptyness, all that kept me alive was love, do not seek to walk the path of nothing, that one is mine for it was the dream of love that brought me back, I stare at nothing and it is the enemy, Nothing hates everything and tries to destroy us but do not fear nothing for it can be survived if love is true. I returned to beauty truth and life. I learned and I would share what I learned with you. My life is a dream and yours is real, I am the dreamer awake, In the beginning there was nothing and it was empty, It created everything that it might have something to eat, Now infinity approaches to watch the fight for life, For we are everything and everything is not nothing. War will come but place your faith and trust in god and good and we have hope If all else fails then there is still hope for as long as one voice shouts for freedom, life and love. I am the blind man trying to explain sight for I saw once everything and all I remember was the words 'Enlightenment, pah who needs that' The old ways are past, Listen to the voice of love Listen to me
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh ok?? But what is nothing? Beside's the word you have never seen, heard, or felt nothing. It is a word to describe emptiness and void.......Nothing more, nothing less lol ~PeAcE~
*Looks around* I dont think war matters in this situation. If you're thinking this theory is saying "Whats the use in life?" Its not saying that. The reason what you live for is up for you. Despite my whole speech, it doesnt matter as far as who you want to be. That is all completely up to you, and only for you. Same goes for everyone else in the world. Sure, it would be nice if everyone thought the same, but, thats what makes us unique. And, I dont know about you, but I respect those who know how to be themselves and choose what they feel is best, not what someone else feels is best. Also, I'm sorry but I've found that if I place trust in myself, and those that I know I can trust, it will surely bring me farther than if I placed hope in "God". And might I mention the huge difference between "God" and a "Theory"? Well, actually, thats another personal belief... anyhow.. If we didn't have nothing... *Deep breath* >.< O.K., If we didn't have nothing, picture it this way: Replace all the emptiness that exists anywhere with anything. This, in theory, would be taking lets say, your face which is looking at your computer screen, and literrally pressing the two together. Not a pretty picture - and thats just the start. I think you get the idea.

Sorry for all the crap, I tend to suffer from a slight form of madness, voices, whisper, coincidences and every other shit you can imagine, Through it all I belive I am free I'm alive, I just some crazy fucker who likes to write But I love the world man and sometimes it seems my mind makes up enemies to fight, While I was off battling nothing I seen everything from the outside and boy is she beautiful, Peace, Joy, Love, Hope, Trust, Faith, and I'm finshed with my battle with nothing cause I bet the fucker and now I'm alive
Hehe, np Anthony. Some of the things you said got me thinking too, which is cool in my book. The poetic way of writing too was interesting also. Anyhow, if you guys have any theories like this too, post em! I love (as im sure others do too) reading them. Lots of interesting ideas. Peace out, rock on, whatever floats your boat =)
Ummm if you are basing your nothing theory on the fact that you can't prove that everything is somthing then what proves that everything is nothing? Reality is merly what your perception of it is to be. All our realities are different. Just understand that reality is a lie, life is enternal and in knowing that it makes the beginning and end not matter.
Interesting topic. I have this reply: When it comes to the concept of "nothing" one has to be careful. It's easy to think of "nothing" as a "something". For example, take the statement "we come from nothing". If nothing is taken as a something, then this statement means there is an actual thing that we come from. At one point, eons in the past, that thing gave birth to us and before that, we didn't exist. But if "nothing" is taken in its most literal sense, this statement really means that we don't have a begining at all - that is, the statement means that we don't come from anything - that is, we have always existed. So there is no thing that gave birth to us, no point in time when we emerged. So you should ask yourself what you really mean by "nothing" - do you really mean nothing - as in a void, a lack - or some thing, a real entity, that we simply call "nothing"?
