I have a confession...

I can't roll worth a damn. I've been smoking for 7 years, and I've never learned.

The culture where I'm from is to smoke from glass, so I never really needed to learn. Whenever I am without a piece at a concert or something, I'll just have a buddy roll. I think its because I have fat fingers.

Is anyone else rolling challeged, or am I the only special one?

i can roll a great cone, but i can never get a small joint right. it always has that little bump in the middle.

 

have u tried the dollar bill trick or another piece of paper to help you roll tight? Works for me. I can roll pretty good and ive only been smoking a couple years.

 

i'm the worst roler around, excepting one friend of mine who rolls even worse.

 

im the best roller among all my friends. I roll almost all the blunts, not because my friends cant just because mine are better and they are all lazy

 

i'm not going to brag, but i can roll pretty crisp joints.

 

I guess I should practice, because I've never really given it a good effort. Usually, I too impatient, and end up just packing a bowl.

I've also done the whole empty a cig and re-pack it deal, which is really nice for concerts and whatnot. That the only reason I have a pack of cigs LOL. Has anbody used a rolling machine?

but ive always bin pretty good with origami since i was like 7

i can roll alright, blunts better than joints. but yeah, the stoner-culture around here is def. smoking out of glass...

i hardly ever roll, because i can pack a bowl and use less weed if im alone. if im with friends- they roll em better anyways.

 

my now ex-girlfriend (hopefully girlfriend again soon) sucked at rolling for a long time. she has been smoking for years and never learned until i introduced her to a friend of mine. big black guy. my big homie. she learned to roll all by herself. it was cool.

here's another situation.

okay by this story do not think i am racist or a biggot in any way whatsoever. I'm white, I have a lot of friends, 2 or 3 of them are white. you might be asking why I'm telling you all this. you'll see.

anyways. the other night i was chillin wit my buddy cory. we were at carlos' sisters house. carlos got a call and he had to go roll a blunt for his brother at a party. now there were 7 black guys, 9 mexicans, and 4 white people at this party. the blunt actually belonged to one of the black guys. now I have lived in chicago and milwaukee and I have never untill that night met a black guy that smokes weed but can't roll a blunt. i just haven't. well cory took carlos over to the party and i stayed and chilled with carlos' sister and brother in-law. I just opend my 15th ber (Corona) when cory pulls up with 43 black guys and 2 mexicans in the car. he comes out and says "dude we need your help we can't roll this thing." I was drunk and laughing my ass off. i got in the truck and looked at all the guys in there and said " now guys, don't take offense to this, but this is sad."

I looked at him and im like "okay you got a bunch of black guys and mexicans and you gotta get the drunk skinny white kid to roll a blunt for you. what the hell is this world comming to?"
they all laughed. i thought it was funny. do any of you agree with me that a skinny white kid should not be able to roll a blunt better than a bunch of gangsta's? oh well. moral of the story is

don't believe in steriotypes. not even if they are a steriotypes of good things.
everyone bleeds the same color and if they don't they should seriously go get that checked out cuz there's definitley something wrong.

and I try not to prejudge based on common stereotypes, but its hard, because you'll be in the car and somebody cuts you off, and when you finally see whos driving its
an old lady. who cant see over the steering wheel. and who doesnt even look over at you when you wave your arms and scream out the window. not fucking wonder she didn't see us, almost wrecked us into the van, the old bat cant even see over the steering wheel! (in this situation you have to imagine a 2 lane left turn lane, and another merging from the opposite side of the street. this is why I dont drive. I know the laws and rules, and apparently there are few others who do!)

To not get the bump in the middle, when you are rolling start with your fingers in the middle and tighten the pot from the middle to the ends.

 

i'm not that good at rolling cause i haven't had to practice, someone else always does it...mine end up loose and too papery, but i'll figure it out someday haha

anyway, no matter how much i love joints and blunts, it's a lot easier to just throw some in a pipe or bong

 

i smoked for a few years before i ever learned, and then i only learned because it was one of my tobacco phases and i was poor enough to rely on buglers. i'm still not good at it, but i am finally able to at least
