great article, it doesn't make them appear as "weird" or offbeat, just presented them as a normal people that don't wear shoes. thanks for posting
Txbarefooter, I plan to visit an aunt in Houston for a few days in Nov. I have never been to Texas, hope there is a lot of good barefooting weather.
Great article! I've thought for a few years that someday I'll go back to school (I went to a 2 year art school so I could get out in the working world ASAP), and if I do, hearing stories like this will hopefully inspire me to try to do it barefoot.
@ohiodel - always good weather to barefoot. the november weather in Houston could be anything from the 80's to the 40's even change that much from day to day, 45 tuesday and 80 wednesday or vise-versa, so I would suggest dress for both. If you're coming from Ohio, then our 'cold' weather wouldn't bother you any. have fun, peace, bob
Thanks Txbarefooter, the weather here has been a little unusual this year in Ohio, on Monday we had a record high of 92, the high today was in the 50's.
