It's usually the first weekend of October. I was there last year...I got the directions from hipforums a few days before the gathering. I don't know what I did with those directions or even if it is in the same place (though I think it might be). I'm sure if you do a search for shawnee through hipforums you might be able to fidn those old directions. That's all I know. If anyone knows more than I, I'd love to know too.

I've also been told that when in doubt go to "Whiskey Ridge". I'm sure locals know where it is. Good luck.

How close is the gathering to cavestock? This will be my first gathering so I am really excited about attending!
....Is that I don't have it. I've recieved a couple rather odd PMs asking for directions. They have a faint odor of rotten pork about them. You trolls, or Feds, or Feddy Trolls, or whoever you are, please go bother someone else. I'm NOT in the loop on this gathering, nor do I wish to be. If the site is east of I-57, we might show up. If not, we probably won't. I'm sure directions will be posted here when they become available. If I'm the first person to come across them, I'll repost them here, with a link to the original source. I doubt that I'll be that person, as I get to the library to check my messages about once a week or less lately.
yeah like the turnup who wanders said we'll be there if I feel that there is no drama vibes from some family that may attend, and also I do not want to take my child into a feddy infested hole. Last year it was awesome though I really wanna go this year so we probably will if it's east in the eastern area of the forest.
