Namaste everyone, I wanted to post this because of all the discussion going on about Yoga Tantra, and the Kundalini. For about five years now I've been practicing a Yoga Tantra Sadhana under the guidance of Yogin Bhairava Atmabhoda Sarasvati, who I've known personally for many years now. And although I began with a weak karmic background for an advanced spiritual discipline such as Tantra, it has nevertheless transformed me into a much more outgoing and compassionate human being, it's effected my consciousness and blessed me with many beautifully profound experiences. And just this past spring had what was probably some type of Kundalini awakening or stirring, I posted a thread about it after it happened called 'Ananda Alive'.
I actually live next door to Yogin Bhairava, and over the years there has been correlations that we have come across or that he has shown me, either in ancient or modern Tantric scriptures, that validate overall themes that he discusses or states of consciousness that he experiences, which are the basis of those themes. One of these being the actual thesis of the book "Kundalini Dream", where the main emphasis is that the finite ego consciousness is being 'dreamed' second to second by the Kundalini Devi. And just a week ago I read this emphasized specifically in "Yoga and Kriya" by Paramahamsa Satyananda Sarasvati, which he only recently was able to look at this past summer. I went with him to Berkeley, California myself where he actually purchased the book.
One more thing, the forum name I choose, Ditmog, is actually an acronym for 'Dream In The Mind Of God' which acknowledges the very theme that is being talked about here. Which is that the individual ego state of maya is only a projection or 'dream' of the Divine Mind of God. The reversal of this projection, back to its Source Consciousness, is the scriptural purpose of a Yoga Tantra Sadhana. Peace, Love, and Namaste.

Sounds to me Surya Vidya, that you needed a second opinion to verify the validity of my consciousness effecting stance. I have no problem with this, but your issue is your own clinging to pravritti karma. Whether you accept that pravritti dominates your mind or not, it does. You must do the Yoga Sadhana to effect your transtition into nivritti. Namaste, Yogin Bhairava Atmabhoda Sarasvati

Namaste Yogin Bhairava, and thank you for the support and guidance as always.

Namaste Yogin Surya Vidya, I appreciate your welcome brother. It is a blessing that you are being exposed to such a revered and ancient tradition as Tantra, even if for now only through the very limited medium of this internet forum. I offer my best wishes to your evolving Sadhana my friend.
peace, love, and namaste. Yogin Jnana Dvaita

Namaste, Joyti Dhyana as taught be San Mat is limited, I have to say, and deals primarily with only the upper cakras, leaving the finite mind and its lower cakra samskaras ever present. Also, is does not serve to effect prana anywhere, as "meditation", defined by the sanskrit word Dhyana, is indicative of the inner flowing of Prana into the Ajna Cakra bindu. I know of several San Mat practitioners personally, and their realizations are limited. Experiences, flashes of intuitions, lofty temporary realizations, are not the same as permanant growing levels of Samadhi that loom forth as the Kundalini saturates ones finite mind.
