The reason why? Well, I have my limitations, as do we all - I am, after all, a fourteen year old kid, and even though I might be smarter than the average fourteen year old(I'm trying to be modest ), I still am 14. I'm interested in girls, in my social status at school and elsewhere, in being "cool"(to a degree), etc. etc. I think that I couldn't really take it if I was yanked out of it all and told that it wasn't reality at all, just a computer program/virtual reality/what have you. If that happened now, that is. Who knows what time will do? Maybe as I mature, my view on the subject will change...
If EVERYBODY is living under the influence of the blue pill, I'd definately take it. After all what we call reality is only an approximation of the world made by our brain cells with our five senses, yet another ''blue pill''. If by taking the blue pill I allow some people to SUFFER and some others to benefit from it, then I'd take the red pill. However, I don't beleive that there actually exists a red pill, developping consciousness is a road, not a goal. Also, it will Always a blue pill, only one that maybe will allow us to be connected with the world, but a blue pill none the less.
I'd ask for the red pill. Afterwards I'd regret it because then I would have to fight this thing without knowing much about the enemy. I'd wish that the world would go back to being "normal", like it was before. Once you know the truth, no amount of blue pills will make you un know it. At that point I would try to find out everything about the enemy because betraying myself or the people closest to me is not a good option. If I fail I would die trying to fight for what’s right.
what if you took the red pill and everything was actually good and there was a benevolent force that loved us all, and the ultimate truth was we are all just children trying to act serious. why does everyone assume the GREAT truth is so sinister.
The truth could be good, or it could be bad. But new people are so used to thinking that the truth is bad, since there is so much brainwashing coming from the people with already established opinions, that new people do not even give any possibility to the case where it is good. But the infinity of the supposedly false truth would make this statement false, because no human definition of good could contain the infinite truth of the universe. Thus making the truth actually true.
We already have that if you think about it. If you have been sober and conformed to pre-conditioning you have taken the blue pill. If you experience psychedelics and see life for what it really is you have taken the red pil.... ~PeAcE~
A mind-body split, that's what happens. Your body is disconnected from the matrix, but your mind stays inside. Your body cannot exist without the mind, so either you become a zombie or you die. I would not do such an experiment.
