if this country had a real (rail) transportation infrastucture, we would not BE stuck in traffic! (plus you could get up and go to the crapper at the end of the car, and if you were going far enough you could walk through the train to the dining/shack bar car, and get something to nibble on if you got hungry.

i'd also be thinking about getting bumperstickers printed up, by the hundreds of thousands that said that first sentence, with appropriate illustrative graphics, and giving them away to everyone who want one.
