I had a dream about the Draft last night.

Last night, I had a dream that America had gone into a HUGE war (which, actually, is kind of true), and the govornment had reinstated the draft. Everyone in the country had to serve. I was with my dad, and we had heard about this hippy colony that was inside this certain park. We headed out to try to find them, at the same time trying to avoid the govornment. On the way, we found a different hippy colony, and stopped there. They let us live with them, all of us hiding from the govornment. We lived in these large white tents, and had an allotted amount of food cupons, to be redeemed for food by the ones running the 'cafeteria'. We also had to go get buckets of water to use, so no-one bathed every day. It was around then the dream ended. What do you think it means?

 

Personally, I would look to volunteer someplace, like at a nursing home or hospital. As a matter of duty, it may indicate that you are trying to evade responsibility, perhaps even growing up. The hippy colony could signify a safe haven, one where one is at ease with their beliefs and prejudices.

Take my words above with a whole lot of grains of salt.

 

Ask your self, if dreams are messages then why do you have to look to others to answer them? You don't. I am not saying that dream translations are incorrect, as some are uncanningly correct. However, you must remind your self of the above question. Your dreams are trying to tell you something be it mystical or a fact of nature, you can read them. If i were to have this dream i would see it as my own fears of a ever changing, hostile world. The fact that your father is with you is iether a example of your solidarity, dependancy or sense of duty. The colony shows faith and trust. You seem loyal, hopeful and most of all a very awear person, your mind is your greatest asset not your braun.

 

Thank you for your inputs. I've been thinking since then, and I think it might have something to do with a diet I recently went on with my family (exept for my dad, who said he would help me if I went vegitarian). I pretty much went on it because they told me I was going to, and it hasn't been going very well. I think the dream might have been telling me to go with a more natural diet.

I've been having some very strange and vivid dreams of that nature lately. The night before last, I dreamped that I was being chased by some people who thought I was a goddess and wanted to sacrafice me. I think it had something to do with change. I've been a little bit nervouse about dieting, because I've NEVER had to before, and THAT dream was emphisizing that, I think.

Anyway, like I said, thank you for your inputs. My dreams are often vivid, and usually mean something, but I sometimes have trouble figuring them out by myself, and an outside opinion can be helpful.
