ohhh! well then i'd be pretty sad if they were both blind, i wouldn't let them race, i'd take them home to take care of them! but if they must : the tortoise would win because the rabbit is too full of him self...
i think the hare would dart about frantically until it eventually reached the finish line or the mouth of a fox, while the timid tortoise recoiled in fear would likely not roam too far for the rest of it's life. but it's not really a race if there are no designated finish lines, which would be the case if they were both blind. it would cease to be a race and become more of a hunt. but i always thought this story was kind of dumb if you're going to take it at face value, which ur sort of asking us to do, by taking away their vision, because the hare hasn't the mental capacity for pomp, and even if he did if he's blind and in a race no creature will be cocky even a personified hare. But who knows. are you just retarded or are u trying to make me have a brain anyeurism. this poll belongs under mindfucks
Having blind folded both animals i can tell you, Hares just kinda go bazerk. a road course is not what they have on their minds when the lights go out. i guess all they think is "FARG!!! I'm considered yummy by everything that eats meat and i can't see em coming." But blind fold a turtle and they kind of just mellow, sort of like they figure "OK It is dark, but it has been dark before lets just get somewhere to chill, maybe we can find something to nibble in the dark."
The tortoise would probably win. The hare would charge full speed into a tree, breaking its neck instantly rendering it incapable of moving...because it would be dead.. From there, the tortoise would gently fumble across the course and find the finish line after a few days.
I think the hare probly has a better nose and if there is something to smell at the finnish line, the hair has a better chance of finding it.
