Doing laundry has never felt so good!

Our friend gave us his old washer and dryer and we've been doing laundry all evening. It's so great to not have to use the bathtub anymore! :hurray:

 

When I was living with my gramps I would go to a laundrymat in town. I still hate change. haha I see that place and shudder.

So YAY for a washer and dryer!!!

 

bathtub? laundrymat? whaaaaaa?

 

I HATE those places...but you gotta do what you gotta do. I probably should have just hand washed everything in the bathtub.

 

We don't have a car and the nearest laundromat is about 3/4 a mile away and there is no way we're lugging our laundry that far on foot, so I either borrowed my parents' washer and dryer every now and then or used the tub. Bleh for washing in the tub!

 

Lol ramona I dont think I'v heard of anyone washing clothes in the tub. But hey, do what ya gotta do! There is this one guy that I work with that washes his dishes in the tub(he lives in a motel). Lol everyone at work cracks jokes on that on the time.

 

we were supposed to ge ta new washer like a month ago from my bfs parents. they have it sititng in their garage right now, and we have no vehicle with which to pick it up. i really need to do laundry... our current washer doesnt drain the water out and eats clothes (destroyed my favourite bra). i mean, its -awesome- that theyre givving us a washre, just annoying that we were supposed to get it over a month ago

 

I'm happy for you, and a little jealous. I have been using a basin for the past year or so. I wish that I could say it was to help the environment or something, but it's not. It's because, I have no washer.

 

Don't feel too bad, it was a year for us before we got ours. How lucky that our friend was too dumb to figure out how to clean out the lint trap, so he thought the dryer sucked, so he just bought a new set, lol.
