Who/What is the Universal Light Expo Anyway??
Nineteen years ago, in 1989, the Balanced Life Expo was organized by Conrad Sherwin, the late Elizabeth Bacon, and Jeff Swart. In 1991 the name of the event was changed by Diana Geisy, Ken Harsh, and Fairybelle Jackson to the Universal Light Expo to reflect a new consciousness and tradition of excellence in the community.

All of the volunteers of this continuing event are blessed and appreciated, and Spirit is always in charge. The Expo is not about the expression of self, or personal power or ego, but of the commonality and shared consciousness that is occurring in all of humankind. Volunteers from all walks of life have made the Expo a “Happening”, one of the finest and largest events of its kind on the planet. We emphasize consciousness and “spirit” over greed and materialism. We respect all traditions and honor a Rainbow of ideas.

The Universal Light Expo is an alternative, complimentary event that can help us all grow in many ways. Realize that “psychic events” are not unusual (they are in fact downright ordinary), and that everyone, yes everyone, has “hidden powers” within. The key to the Universe is within, not outside, or from someone else.

Many types of goods, services and ideas will be offered: 130 presenters in nearly 150 talks and workshops, 335 booths filled with products and services for an enlightened life. There is something for everyone. Thousands will network and join to raise the energy of the entire region, the nation, and the whole planet.

We are all a part of the “community”, we are all related, all a part of the same energy, the same web of life. Whether from Ohio, Tibet, or La La Land, the bridge of rainbow light that is in us all, connects us to all, seen and unseen. This “community” comes from all over the world, right here to the Heartland, to bring you the 19th Universal Light Expo.

So, welcome to the Expo, it is your Expo. Your ideas, suggestions, and thoughts are always welcome, as are more volunteers! Thanks and Blessings to all. Let your universal Lights shine throughout the universe.

    Yerwhat?
Not my kinda thing - I tend to avoid these "love and light" events because 9 times out of 10 it's just the same old christian bollocks given a makeover and a touch of "New Age-ness".
Seriously, at most of those things someone, at some point, will try and convince me that "Jesus Saves". No, he doesn't, else we wouldn't BE here, would we? We'd all be in heaven smoking a fat blunt.

i volunteer at the light expo, i'm not spamming. i just hoped that anyone around columbus who had the opportunity would get to attend. while there are people there selling products and services it is simply because people have to pay bills. everybody has to do something. anyway there are plenty of things to do their that don't cost money. there's the labyrinth, the monks construct a sand mandala, and there are several different speakers at once in different rooms sort of like a conference. you can just decide which to go to based either who's speaking or what they are speaking about. don't be so quick to judge that which you have not experienced yourself.
