legalized? For personal use like alcohol? Couldn't people start a petition? Do you think it would ever realistically happen?
first we gotta make marijana legal, then we can think about legalizing other things. and even if it doesn't work, just try a petition, you never know.
they will never ever ever be legal and that is the bottom line :-( unless you get like 1/3 of your country to sign a petition
Yeah, Mexico...if you want Codeine or Tramadol... I can take 200+ mg of Codeine and get nothing but drowsy, and Tramadol just gives me a raging, throbbing headache. If only there was a country where oxycodone was OTC. I'd move there in a SECOND. I think all the junkies should get together, buy an island, and create our own country where opiates are legal and instead of bars we just have pharmacys. Who's with me?

that would be like heaven bro...I've always told my friends that don't abuse opiates like OC and hydrocodone, shit like that, that opiates don't fuck you up like alcohol or benzos or any drug that "fucks u up". I always say to them Opiates just make u feel GOOD, REAL good lol! They don't make u forget shit like benzos do, they wont change ur personality like meth and cocaine do. They just make you more calm, relaxed, easy-going and you feel really good/happy. And if u are using, in particularly, Oxycodone and take enough to "NOD" or "FADE OUT" you will see what most junkies go for everytime they stick a needle in their arms.(hence the word Faded - to be high on opiates)...opiates are a selfish drug because they just make the person that is on them feel a nice euphoric high that others won't notice. Like you could easily be on opiates everyday for a year and no one would notice as long as u weren't taking Nodding Doses ; ) . ..cuz all the friends that i know that use/abuse OxyContin are what i like to call "functioning addicts," they have a job, go to college, never had problems with drugs in the past, come from upper-middle class familys and nice houses, basically they were all brought up with every opportunity to succeed in life. like for ex. swim has one friend that needs at least one 80mg/OC pill a day to stay good..thats $80 a day to stay normal and sometimes they'll spend even more in a day...its sad, i mean they can afford to keep their addictions going but once that supply runs out they get sick and cant function in society until they get more opiates....its a sad cycle...and the good effects of opiates are truley amazing but the bad side-effects are just the opposite of the 'good' side-effects.....and everyone knows how GOOD opiates can be so just imagine how BAD they can be once ur addicted and have to experience withdrawals for the first time, u will see then..
I don't know of any country that has made opiates otc, even in Mexico. I got percocet and diet pills in Mexico a few years ago. My friend and I were taken back to the doctors office, which is in the pharmacy, he asked me what I needed, I told him pain pills for a toothache, he wrote me three prescriptions of percocet, 5 dollars for each. The diet pills, which was redux and new on the market, was suprisingly available over the counter. I think the US has gotten stricter with bringing prescription drugs back from Mexico. They want you to show that you have a prescription from a US doctor, as far as narcotics go. Actually its a good thing pain pills are not sold over the counter, otherwise, I would be suffering from liver failure about now.
