(Sorry if this in the wrong section i couldnt find it ) Ive donee weed a few times and it felt pretty good, but im beginning too think im not exaclty getting as high as i could. I get the flickering, forgetting how we got here, and cant have conversations, and occasional "What the hell is that thing!". But my friends seem more chill when they're high and they always always say im faking. I'm not and its really annoying. Anyways ive never smoked a cigarette and done weed a few times, how exactly should i go about getting the most out of my spliffs? Thanks
A bong would work the best!! But if all you have is papers this is what I do.. 1. Roll the J. 2. Light it. 3. Suck the smoke into your mouth. 4. All at once inhale all the smoke in your mouth into your lungs. 5. Hold 6. Exhale Just keep smoking, you'll get your own "method" as time progresses....... Happy Token ~PeAcE~
Maybe when people start out smoking they are more hyper than people that have smoked a long time... or it just depends on what kinda person you are.
Yeah, it is a tolerance thing. As he stated it is his first few times, and feeling majorly fucked up (off of even mid quality) is normal. Yeah you will be wacky and possibly even annoying, but the high is the most intense it will ever be.... unless you take a long haitus from tokin. You will grow more occustomed to being high, and although the high isn't as intense when you have been smoking for a long time it is still every bit enjoyable. Shadoze, smoking is a very easy proccess: Draw smoke into your mouth and inhale it. That is all thats to it!
I suggest you put the roach firmly between your lips, and just suck as hard as you can into your lungs. But don't forget to videotape it, I want to see it.
The big thing that beginners screw up is depth of breath. The important, absorbant parts of your lungs are the deepest locations, so be sure that you get smoke as soon as possible in the breath and that you start out with empty lungs. Think of it this way: most of the smoke in your upper lungs and all of the smoke in your esophagus isn't doing anything for you, and that's actually a pretty big volume of smoke. The best strategy is to take a big hit for the first 3/4 breath or so, then finish off with a final breath of air to push it down (and not waste weed).
^^^exactly. The biggest problem with most newbies is that they don't take a deep ennough hit. Its better to take a smaller hit and inhale deeply, than a huge hit that you hold in your throat because it burns. I always tell newbies to take a small/medium hit, inhale a little bit of fresh air to get all the smoke into your lungs, and exhale through your nose so you know you didn't just hold it in your mouth. hell, i've been smoking for about 6 years almost, certainly no newby but i know i dont qualify as any kind of lifelong smoker or anything either but i still OFTEN try to take small hits and inhale deep and hold it for a few seconds rather than take a huge hit i have to blow out right away...helps stretch my bud, honestly.
what i say you do is smoke like you normally do but suck in some regular air after the hit so it gets in for sure thats how i learned
Make sure you pull that smoke deep down into your lungs, using your diaphragm. Try to hold it in as long as you can, and as deep as you can get it. I'll usually just chill out with a lungfull for a minute or longer. Usually, when I exhale there is very little visible smoke, if any. But I've conditioned my lungs and learned how to relax and just let the discomfort of the smoke go through me without causing too much resistance. You'll do the same thing, with time. Like someone else said, you'll develop your own method but make sure you get that smoke DEEP into your lungs.
well with everyone on here saying that you need to take small hits and then exhale, i only slightly disagree, i think you should take a 'comfortable' hit(as in to the point where it starts to feel as if you may cough if you take more) then inhale normaly and hold it, as long as you can, and exhale, works great for me.
I know that when I smoke and hold it in for a good 30 seconds or more I get higher off of less weed. Try it yourself and see how it works for you. Maybe it doesn't. Oh well, does for me.
