    haha.
i wasn't meaning the ones that have the innate ability to nurture but all the ones that have pets just because they think they have to have them and put them through continuous neglect.

one time when i was tripping at my friends house i somehow saw life through his dogs eyes...it was sad...such a cute little puppy that gets constantly neglected and mistreated but is expected to constantly give unconditional love :(
    made me cry pretty much.

When I was in school I would get angry if there ants somewhere and people just sat/step/ on top of them, I would always ask them how would they feel if they were this tiny little being just doing their own thing and something huge would just come and squashed you... poor little ants, they must live in constant fear of the giants.

That's the same way human relationships are...... LMAO!!

No seriously though brother righteous post! So many people miss the little things in this life because they are so "pre-occupied" with the things that DON'T matter in this life ya know??

Smile at someone you'll never see again, smell a flower, stare at the stars, watch a sunset.... If globalization and civilization were not here we would be on a much simpler, much more beautiful, and life-filled world, too bad it's not that way :& But then again, with no civilization, there would be no 'cid??

"I think the real test of psychedelics is what you do with them when you're not on them, what kind of culture you build, what kind of art, what kind of technologies... What's lacking in the Western mind is the sense of connectivity and relatedness to the rest of life, the atmosphere, the ecosystem, the past, our children's future. If we were feeling those things we would not be practicing culture as we are."
    Terence McKenna Tripping

Thought this quote pertained really well with the topic the OP brought up.

this question is for *autumn*epona*. you said in your earlier post that your cockatiel can calculate like a calculator. i find this to be absolutely fascinating if your saying wat i think you are. can u explain in more detail does your bird add, subtract divide etc. and how large of an equation can he compute. i knew parrots could repeat sounds and words that they hear but this is utterly amazing. most humans dont even possess that much intelligence.

    peace

I am a pet to a spider named Jojob.
And let me tell you, I wish I were free
to live in my natural habitat!
But the web is kind of cozy, and the
other bug's have great stories. I told
the first round, from memory, 6 of the
early tales from Arabian Nights, which
    didnt go over so well.
Wait a minute, am I typing this? Are
    internet people reading this?! Wait,
what the hell, is going on exactly?

Seeing Blind.....to my knowledge he cannot actually solve equations or add things together.....my mom sits at her dining room table and does her accounting and uses one of those calculators that prints out as you enter the numbers....he listens and then makes the same sounds that the calculator makes...the sound of your finger striking the numbers and the sound of it totalling and the paper being pulled through the machine....my mom also has the habit of speaking the numbers out loud as she goes and he says the same thing and then makes the noise of the calculator.

He also loves watching soccer on TV and yells "GOAL!!!!" when someone scores and then does this funky little victory dance....it's hilarious.

So true, yesterday I smoked some salvia and I was totally blown off my ass so I went outside to smoke a cigarette and there were a bunch of ants on the sidewalk. I got down and put my face right over top of them to see them and it was amazing. To see them up close and personal, they are like 6 legged people!! There was a leader, all the busy workers helping each other out, communicating theyre own way, gathering bits of food, it really makes you appreciate the little things in life....But since I was fucked up on sally D I couldn't help but feel like I was an ant, I mean...What if we ALL are and there is someone high high above looking at US through a magnifying glass????

    nah.
I don't think we've been to the moon at all.
and if we actually were on the moon it was the moon in the third dimension.
    you are missing details thee.
there could always be something to that way.

    Uhh yeah here's my theory....

Walk out your door and look at the ground your standing on. You are standing on an object called a planet. Now first think of how BIG this planet is compared to a miniscule insignificant little ant to you...

Now Imagine this, there are 10 planets (including the sun) in our GALAXY along with hundreds of thousands of stars!! Stars mind you which are MUCH bigger than these united states even!!

Now for the tricky part, there are hundreds of thousands of countless GALAXIES throught the universe!! Each with it's own set of stars and planets and nebula's and etc.

Now for the BIGGEST part of all.....

YOUR telling me, that within the hundreds of thousands of MILLIONS of galxies and planets in this infinite universe we are living and breathing in RIGHT NOW!!!! YOUR telling me, that we are not ants???

Please......Explain your defense to a further extent than, "Oh...we've been on the moon"

    Thank You Much!!
