Who takes it? What disorder are you diagnosised with? What's your dose? I am wondering because I have bipolar disorder and I take it. I take 100 mg at night and it has really improved the quality of my life. I hope to increase the dose tomorrow when I see my new doc. Any other stories about it? Peace and love
My old roommate left a shit load of it here. She's bipolar but would mostly take it for sleep. Every now and again when I've been anxious, I've taken it for sleep- it works almost too well. It's a strong drug. It's an antipsychotic and when I take too much I can hardly stand up....... not thorzine but..... In any case, it works for sleep. It's strong but it can be too strong.
I started taking it two months ago and it has helped. It calms my mind down during the day and eliminates a lot of my negative thoughts.
I take it. But not very often. It tends to knock me out for too long and leaves me groggy all day after waking up. I don't even remember why I'm taking it anymore. My assumption is that it's to help me sleep by getting rid of scattered thoughts while I'm trying to fall asleep.
I've been taking it since February of this year. I'm taking 400mg. I take it, along with Zoloft and Klonopin, because I was hospitalized [twice] and diagnosed with agoraphobia, panic disorder, major depression and I was self-harming. It knocks me the hell out. And I'm on such a high dosage that I cannot get out of bed in the morning. I get so groggy. >___< xoxo
I had been taking seroquel for a little over a year. One of the side effects of seroquel is weight gain. I take 2 different types of anti-depressants. Seroquel just wasn't doing the job. So last week my doctor last week switched me to trazodon. I take it about an hour before bedtime and by the time I get ready for bed I'm staggering. I have been diagnosed with schizo- effective disorder which is similar to bipolar disorder. And I'm just getting over a bout with clinical depression. Peace and love
I took 25 mg. at night for DID (multiple personalities) a couple of years ago. It would worked great as I would split mostly in my sleep. I am cured so I no longer need it, but it helped a great deal when I did need it.
