So me and a co-worker of mine have been working at the same location for quite awhile now. Ive been working there for 2 1/2 yrs and hes been working there about a year now. We kind of got mad because our hours were being cut and given to new people so they could be trained and then this other worker gets paid $2 more an hr then me and I do way more work then him. So we were kind of getting fed up with it and started making cash on our own. Now our store runs with about 10 cameras and looking directly on the cash machine and everywhere. So when you rang up food you always had to have a reciept come out. For like 3-4 months my freind and I would do what we call "get customers" or make deals. We would ring them up for a small drink and they would throw $5 in the tip draw. We would have a receipt for them so if the owners checked the cameras is basically impossible to catch us. So last week my freind was working (I wasnt though) and he made a deal. The lady thought that she got ripped off and made a customer complaint. Apparently I found out like 3 weeks prior somebody else had called up and it was a complain against me. I had been skimming money on the side for about 3 weeks and they could never catch me on the cameras. The owner talked to the two of us and basically told us he knows what were doing, why were doing it and that he understands. He said he'll give me a raise to shift leader and pay raise if I just stop stealing. Didnt even get into any shit. In all my total amount of profit: $300. And still got my job.
that's even better than me getting promoted for a DUI. not really sure what it has to do with marijuana though
my friend valets and they charge extra money to park cars like "VIP" and charge like 100 dollars to park at big clubs in atlanta when its busy
well, i was a pizza delivery proffessional at the time... got the DUI so now i can't deliver for several more years, but i was a good worker so the boss made me a manager (he'd been trying to get me to manage for a little while before then anyway)
that sucks drivers make more than managers which is sad consider how much work managers have to do. When i worked at dominos i think 3 or 4 of the drivers used to be managers of the store but became drivers since they werent making enough money.
yeah, my brother was the same way, he managed and drove because the tips were worth so much he even got paid extra as a manager because his boss didn't want him to leave and he was thinking about it, and he still drove
^ yeah, that's exactly why I would never do it despite my brother telling me it's great money most of the money he had to spend was from working on fellow delivery driver's cars for them  (he's now a real mechanic)
