hey friends, i see on the great lakes rainbow site that they are having a "Regional Kownsayl" here in michigan. I believe its some time in november and last for a few days. Does anyone know what this will consist of? peace & unity Justin
Yes they mentioned their having the annual fall color picnic/ normally at Columbia Creek Park/ but I understand from what I read is to be at Dave's place and the Autum Clownshow (I personally do not know where that is exactly) You should post an ask ok....but here is what the Clownshow is http://www.playbill.com/news/article/108020.html Hope that answered one of your questions
This info came out today: *****October 4 - 8, 2007***** Michigan Autumn Regional Gathering, Pere Marquette State Forest, north of Honor, Michigan. The Regional this year will be a return to the delightful site in Pere Marquette State Forest where we gathered several autumns ago. A very small Regional Gathering is anticipated, but you never know till you show up. To get there: Take US-31 to the town of Honor (southwest of Traverse City). From the east edge of Honor, take Ely Rd. (County Rd. 677) north to Fowler Rd (County Rd. 610). Turn right (east) on Fowler. Go 2.1 miles to a two-track road on the left (north) side of the road. Turn there and go a short distance to parking. Hike down the hill at the north end of parking to the Shore-to-Shore Trail, then hike east about 1/4 to 1/2 mile. If you're the first one there, you can pick a gorgeous kitchen spot. Word is that Turtle Soup Kitchen, equipment, *and crew will *not* be there, so all folks attending would be well advised *to bring food, extra water, and cookware along with the usual Rainbow gear. *****Probably October 13, possibly moved to October 20***** The annual Fall Colors Picnic, which in previous years has been at Columbia Creek Park, this year will be at Dave's place near Lansing. *****November 2 - 4***** The Autumn Clownshow/Kownsayl/Council will again this year be at Nahnah's Garden and Cat Ranch in Eaton Rapids. More and info, including directions to Nahnah's Garden and updated info if the Fall Colors Picnic date is changed, can be found on the Events calendar at www.greatlakesrainbow.info
