There's that Fall Colors picnic in Ann Arbor around Labor Day...is that what you're talking about? After speaking to the Turtle Soupers at the PA gathering, I think they're about done for the year, though. If southern Illinois counts as Midwest, Shawnee will be coming up in October.

Indiana young Rainbows never did take over the work(scouting, councils, etc) from the oldsters in focalizing, and thus not much happens in Indiana for the Time being. Shawnee in Illinois is traditionally Oct 1-11, although i don't recommend "tradional" gatherings like Shawnee as i prefer focalized gatherings.

    Stuck...
What your looking at for "fall clownshow" is fall council and it's at a magical place with really kind people, but I found it a bit hard to get past the seeming clickish thing that sometimes happens at smaller things like this. And than add to the fact that it's at a person's house, you get a stronger feeling that there's something just not the same as other gatherings. It's unexplainable. I haven't been round there in a while cuz of 1 person's comments to me, that I thought were concensed, but who know's "just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean that someone's not out to get you" hehehe :)

Well, if you consider Wyoming midwest or close enough, there is Thanksgiving with the Fam, or council, announced soon. Hopefully a kind wyomian (??) will offer up their land, or it will be at a NF campsite in the freezing cold.

The Clownsale is at Nana and Medicine Crows. I've haven't been to the counsel, but I know the folks well. Nana is from Turtle soup and Medicine Crow is a folk musician. I enjoy being around the Michigan Family and expecilly these two. These folks are some of the best Rainbow folks I've ever met. If you go tell them that Scottieb says howdy.
